I stated that I am all for protecting the un- and under-employed and small businesses, essential services, etc. An extra effort to promote greater consumerism is misplaced right now, and aid to financial mismanagement should be off the table.

I'm still laughing at Susan Collins being the arbiter of consistent and honest, but it does seem that Munchkin has met enough of the dems' concerns to pass this beast at least in the Senate. And getting a bill this big passed in a week, after Trump said for over 8 weeks this was a Hoax, is not dallying by the dems.

It remains to be seen, though, whether Pelsoi can avoid returning to her social justice warrior ways and reign in her caucus.
