Chronicle of Palestinian terrorism

Hoffstra; et al,

Arab Terrorists and Radical Islamic Operators and fundamentalist, generally follow the theme set by the Arab Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism, of April 1998. But it has a different slant.

terrorism is an act of violence upon non-combatant civilians.

no amount of Israeli legalese can change this.

next they'll tell us that kids throwing stones at Israeli soldiers in the West Bank, is also terrorism.
(OBSERVATION)

What part of this do you feel is incorrect?

Remember: The nationals of an occupying power, Israeli citizens, are specifically excluded from "civilian" status by the Fourth Geneva Convention.

(COMMENT)

It is not uncommon for us to hear the Article 13 Jihadist and Article 10 Feday'een to claim they can kill anyone, anytime, anywhere, in the pursuit of neutralizing the US and Israel; civilian, or not.

Remember:

Under Arab rules, this is entirely acceptable.

The Palestinians had every legal right to reject giving half of their country to foreigners.

Why do you always imply that they did something wrong?

Most Respectfully,
R

We're not talking about the West Bank. Everyone who is a citizen of Israel is a ..well....citizen... There is no occupation outside the West Bank. Once again, you make no sense.

P F Tinmore; et al,

I see you keep raising this point.

(OBSERVATION)

This is not true in the context in which you are trying to apply it. If they are not participating in the conflict, they are off-limits to engage.

(COMMENT)

Specify the point and the clause you want to apply.

Gaza is still Occupied.

East Jerusalem is still Occupied.

The Golan Heights is still Occupied.

"Returning to Gaza, after Israel’s 1967 conquests, its torture took new forms.

"Merely to mention one of innumerable examples, immediately before the outbreak of the Intifada in Gaza in December 1987, a Palestinian girl was shot and killed in a schoolyard by a resident of a nearby Jewish settlement.

"Like other 'unpeople,'” to borrow Orwell’s phrase, her name — Intissar al-Atar — is unknown in the civilized world, her fate as well.

"The murderer was one of the several thousand Israelis settlers brought to Gaza in violation of international law and protected by a huge army presence, taking over much of the land and scarce water of the Strip and living 'lavishly in twenty-two settlements in the midst of 1.4 million destitute Palestinians,' as Raz describes the crime.

"The murderer of the schoolgirl, Shimon Yifrah, was arrested, but quickly released on bail when the Court determined that 'the offense is not severe enough' to warrant detention.

"The judge commented that Yifrah only intended to shock the girl by firing his gun at her in a schoolyard, not to kill her, so 'this is not a case of a criminal person who has to be punished, deterred, and taught a lesson by imprisoning him.'

"Yifrah was given a 7-month suspended sentence, while settlers in the courtroom broke out in song and dance.

"And the usual silence reigned.

"After all, it is routine."

Do I get to list the Israeli atrocities or has this nation devolved into such an Israeli proxy that I am no longer allowed to share my disdain for Israeli practices? God forbid I get labeled a racist for not following that status quo.

Did you see how long Viktor's post was? Israel "atrocities" list can fit in the back of a matchbox.

But they were asleep. How much more cowardly an act can get?
Not to mention they were that not to fight but keep peace.
Did you give out candies then?

The USA only dropped bombs on Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya, during the waking hours?

So, who was that shakh, emir, effendi, sultan, president, prime-minister of that "country" to back the claim up?
650,000 Jews and 1.35 million Arabs lived between the River and the sea in 1948 Mandate Palestine. Why not a vote to decide the issue of self determination instead of an imperial decree?

how about just giving 2/3 of Palestine to the Arabs and 1/3 to the Jews??????

instead they gave the Jews 60%...while they barely made up 35% of the population.

I've heard 1 Israeli is worth 5000 Ayrabs. Just sayin'.

P F Tinmore; et al,

Who says it was "their country?"

(COMMENT)

  • Who gave the Arab Palestinians a country?
  • Where was this spelled-out?
  • When did it happen?

And don't start with the "right to self-determination." You know that did not come about until after the League of Nation was started. The division of the Ottoman Empire and the transfer of control of the territory to the Allied Powers was before that phase was invented; before the Covenant of the League of Nations.

Most Respectfully,

The League of nations cannot create rights.

People are born with rights. They are not handed out by people with guns. The Palestinians said it was their country and they are the people with the right to make that claim.

If Palestine was not the Palestinian's then whose country was it? A bunch of foreigners out of Europe?:lol::lol: :cuckoo::cuckoo:

The Jews in 1947 had a lot more power and influence over the UN, than the Arabs.

The UN was dominated by European and Western powers....who cared more about Jewish concerns that Arab ones.

Tinny lives in that fantasy land of Ustawuz. The League of Nations couldnt do it's job and died before Tinmore was born. Palestinian maps and borders be damned.

Since the abd Georgie Boy has become a devout Dhimmi, he will never tell you of Arab atrocities, not even when they are committed on Black people and he doesn't care that this is routine Since we are talking about after 1967 when Israel got control of the territories and had to administer them, the Israelis built schools, hospitals and clinics for the Arabs, put in infrastructure, gave inoculations against infectious diseases that were never given before, increased the life expectancy of these Arabs and gave them one of the highest standards of living in the Middle East. Perhaps Georgie Boy can explain to us why the Egyptians and Jordanians didn't do this for the "Palestinians."

OK, what do you think "excluding nationals of the Occupying Power" means?
