The 9th regularily rules for the left...............and so it goes to higher courts.

The current battle is that the Refugees may only apply for asylum at legal points of entry............aka......they can't sneak in and when caught go I CLAIM ASYLUM............If they cross illegally and are caught..........well they committed a crime.............yelling Asylum is not a get out of jail free card when caught and never should be.

This will end up in the Supreme Court..................and right now the back log in places like Tijuana are backing up ticking off Mexico.........because Catch and Release is dead............and they are waiting in line........

The current legal battle is defining the Defensive asylum process.............Caught here illegally and they yell I am seeking Asylum forcing a court date..........given the back log of nearly a million cases now...........they used to get a court date and are released...........But now they are detained..........So they then use the courts to demand release saying they can't be held indefinitely waiting for the court date..............Using the loop holes to escape..........

Knowing that most Asylum will be denied..........they don't show up for court and move and simply stay here illegally......Our process is a joke.

Justice Roberts made an appropriate comment, given his position in the judicial firmament. But his comment was de facto bullshit, and Trump was 100% right - although no sitting President should say these things.

The political orientation of Federal judges and justices has long been known by all, however, it is in the Chief Justice's interest to preserve the fiction of an independent judiciary. It is along the lines of Vince McMahon clarifying that professional wrestling is, as it claims to be, real wrestlers trying to defeat each other. Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

If Supreme Court justices were actually independent, apolitical arbiters of the law, why did those Democrat Senators make such asses out of themselves slandering the eminently-qualified Judge Kavanaugh? Because they thought he copped a feel in high school?
