Donald Trump's counsel suggested in court Friday that the legal team may consider pursuing a mistrial in light of a Breitbart News report.

Former President Donald Trump’s counsel, Christopher Kise, suggested in court Friday that the legal team may consider pursuing a mistrial in the civil suit brought by the state of New York in light of a report from Breitbart News.
At the center of the argument is Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle’s report that New York County Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron’s top clerk, Allison Greenfield, “appears to have violated judicial rules preventing officers of the court from making excessive political donations.”

As Boyle reported, it seems Engoron was advised of the violations laid out in a complaint filed to his court from a third party:
…it appears Engoron was advised of Greenfield’s violations in a 72-page complaint addressed to his court via email that was also filed with the New York State Bar Association the same day he decided to issue a gag order against former President Donald Trump in his case currently playing out in Engoron’s Manhattan courtroom.
Engoron said Friday, “It’s not information, it’s an allegation!” according to Rosoff.
Commentary:
The misconduct of holding back the information and then fining Trump for exposing it should lead to the “judge” losing his seat. And THEN being disbarred.
DSA Democrats have gone to the next step and that is Law-Warfare.
The evidence shows that Judge Engoron acted subject to a clear actual conflict of interest in imposing a gag order on Trump. He has an interest in protecting his clerk against having what appears to be clear proof of misconduct that conflicted with his duty to be fair, impartial, and protect the defendant’s constitutional rights. Which absolutely justifies a mistrial and his removal from this case.
This actions of judge Engoron cannot go unchallenged.
We must all continue the fight and expose the unlawful double standards DSA Democrats
are trying to get away with.
Democrats know Biden cannot win re-election. They're making these baseless attacks on Trump by subverting the rule of law.

The response is easy enough to prove if the records unless they have mysteriously vanished.
Engoron is just another self loathing, corrupt politician dressed as a judge and has become the poster child for what is wrong with America's judicial system.
