Just out of curiosity, how much of "Papa Obama's" debt is because he put the wars on the books?

Just curious.

What do you think keeping the wars off the books, which is actually impossible with the federal budget, actually did that was any different than not passing a budget at all?

Its the countries Debt NOT Obamas.

Here are some numbers for you to contemplate.

It took Bush 2922 days to accumulate $4,899,100,310,608.44 in new debt.
It took Obama 1150 days to accumulate $4,937,931,842,854.91 in new debt.

That means that Obama took less than half as long as Bush to accumulate the same amount of debt. Imagine, if you can, another 4 years of Obama policies and a national debt of over $25,000,000,000,000.

Obama also stated that if he didn't have the job done in 4 years, he'd leave.

Yet another lie.

Our credit rating costs us plenty, and S+P said it happened because of disfunctional gov't, ie Pubs making a political football out of raising the debt limit. STUPID and pure politics....

Gee, what did Barry "do" with that filibuster proof Congress, Franco? Did he pass legislation to get the economy back on track or lower unemployment? Did he pass legislation to in any way lower the National debt? No, he used his super majorities to let Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi write what is probably the worst piece of legislation ever crafted while attempting a government takeover of health care. Oh...and he passed the Obama Stimulus...that spent a trillion dollars and created so few new jobs that they had to come up with a new statistic "jobs saved" in order to make it look like less of train wreck than it really was.

As for our credit rating? S&P downgraded us because we didn't address the deficit...not because the GOP resisted raising the debt limit without trying to get spending cuts from the Democrats SO WE WOULDN'T GET DOWNGRADED! S&P told us loudly and clearly that they didn't believe this government could cut deficits. They watched Barry increase spending while pushing spending cuts off years from now and they came to the correct conclusion that this Administration will never be fiscally responsible enough to make needed cuts to spending nor was the economy strong enough to weather tax increases. Chances are we'll be getting another downgrade if we continue on with another 4 years of this nonsense and it won't be because someone resisted raising the debt ceiling...it will be because nobody did anything about runaway government spending.

Here is a some unbiased truth for everyone this nation has 15 trillion dollar plus debt and every President in lifetime so far has added to it both Democrat and Republican.

Just some more than others...

Carter - 42%
Reagan - 189%
Bush I - 55.6%
Clinton - 36%
Bush II - 89%
Obama - 41%

Some reality shall we? Reagan had a Democratic Congress that vowed to spend a dollar more for every dollar he spent on defense. Unlike Obama Reagan had Budgets, and not one of them was what he asked for, everyone was way over what he wanted. Why? Because Congress was dems and they create the Budget.

As for the figure for Bush II and Obama. that is a straight up lie. Obama will have created more debt in 4 years then Bush did in 8. THAT is a fact. And without ever once signing a budget. Why? Because the dems in the Senate REFUSE to create one.

Now lets pretend that two wars somehow were not part of Bush's debt but are for Obama shall we?
