Can Canada and USA be unified into One Country?

Canada and the USA are two big countries adjacent to each other.
There are many similarities between Canada and the USA.
Both countries have the same colonial history.
Both countries have the same culture and language.
Both countries have the same lifestyle.
Both countries are nations composed of descendants of immigrants.
Both countries have the same political system and economic system.
Both countries have the same developed and industrialized economy.
Both countries are closely linked with each other in economy.
Since there are so many similarities between Canada and the USA,
the two countries are adjacent in geography and are so integrated in economy,
is it possible for Canada and the USA to be unified into one country?
After unification, this new country will be the largest country in the world.
The idea of unification sounds crazy. Well, a book has been published to explore such possibility.
This book explores
unification between Canada and the USA,
unification between Mexico and its two small southern neighbors,
unification between Chile and Argentina,
unification between France and the two tiny states along its southern border,
unification between South Africa and Lesotho, and
unification between a few pairs of other small countries.
This book can be found in Barnes and Noble, Amazon,
PublishAmerica(publisher) and other websites. We can simply search GOOGLE.
Book title is “REDRAWING WORLD MAP”.
Book subtitle is “EXPLORATION OF UNIFICATION BETWEEN COUNTRIES”.
This book explains that, unification between countries, in some cases, is possible.
What are those two tiny states? "unification between France and the two tiny states along its southern border".

I'm a dual citizen currently residing in Canada and I'll tell you right now no one wants your freaking debt. My Conservative government is very close to a balanced budget coming out of the recession.

And at least our liberals are able to be dealt with. Not like your whacked out race baiting lunatic progressives.

Well except for the crazies in Quebec but that's a whole different story.
We really do want you to take our liberals. They would be so much happier up there.

Less than 1% of Canadians want to be part of the most fucked up country on the planet.
The US voters were so fucking stupid they voted in an incompetent poser as President b/c of his skin color. Now that's fucking stupid.

The last I recall, we don't have the same political system, nor a similar judicial system.
The only thing we mostly get from Canada is.....cold.
Also, millions of us like our guns and Canada doesn't.

I beg to differ. We have only 15 major cities in Canada. And of course the cities are mostly but not all liberal just as in the US. But that's out of 9.98 million square kilometers. The US is 9.86 million square kilometers to give you a comparison.

The rest of the country is rural. Trust me. We love our guns. And because we finally managed to get a true conservative governnent elected with a majority our gun registry has been thrown out.

It was a great day for gun owners. Here's the visual showing our few cities vs the rest of the country.

Same history? Parlez-vous français dipshit?

When our countries were in their infancy without borders our lands were shared by the French and the British. New France baby!

And one of my favorite destinations known as the great state of Louisiana has a direct mutual link between our two countries. Cajuns. Very different from the first French colonists in Louisiana.

Cajuns come from what is known as Acadia now the Maritimes in Canada. Mostly Nova Scotia. Some of my favorite people on the planet.

So yes. We have a mutual history in our infancy.

I hope no. What the hell we are going to do together? We have no real border. In fact we are doing a lot of duties for them. Thus we perform their international policy as well. WE fight with terrorists to save their as##s ? Do you want more?
What terrorists do we fight with? You make no sense.

The Canadians like our money and making money from us.

The don't particularly like us, considering we invaded them four times in two wars, and they kicked our collective ass.

Nothing in it for them.

My French forefather came from France, and mustered out of the French army in Natchitoches, in 1764, when he refused to join the Spanish army.

Natchitoches was 300 years old in 2014, the oldest continuous colonial settlement in the Louisiana Purchase.

I was born in the state of Louisiana, but, and lived in it most of my life, but I have never lived in old French Louisiana.

I was born in the Florida Parishes, and now live in West LA, in what was claimed by Spanish Texas, and later called the Neutral Strip.

Wow, very familiar with the Florida Parishes. One doesn't hear them mentioned often.
They were part of Florida and not part of the Louisiana Purchase, for those who don't know.

I think there should be some sort of IQ test one needs to take before posting here. Something easy that even a few of these racist teabaggers could pass.

Oh Canada! You wild and mossy land

True gourmet love for ice wine and moose pate

With glowing hearts we see thee rise

The price of oil shale sent

to the Yanks, may they choke and die

We will rob them blind

before their carbon death descends

O Canada! We stand on guard for thee

O Canada! We stand on guard for thee.
