Calling Out Alang1216: The God of Abraham is a myth

Pick one of the miracles and tell me what the point of the account was and separate that from the embellishment. Let's start with the resurrection. Fair enough? What were the points of those accounts if it wasn't that Jesus rose from the dead?
One issue that makes me doubt the story is the differences between the accounts so let's start there. I see that as evidence that somewhere someone claimed that they encountered the risen Jesus and the story was embellished over the decades. How many sightings of Elvis were there, showing these stories can spontaneously appear. What is the story as you see it?

How does the Resurrection Story Change in the Gospels?

Or you could explain how the accounts of the resurrection of Christ were an embellishment. Either he didn't rise from the dead or he did. And if he didn't rise from the dead, then they lied about it. Which makes it a conspiracy and not a myth.

I did explain. If you choose to ignore what I write, we are at a dead end.

Your strawman is a dead end.

That is exactly the strawman.
How so? Walk me through your logic. Don't bring up Elvis or Mohamed. Walk me through the apostles actions and show how it can't be either a conspiracy to commit fraud or the truth.

You ask me how and then limit my answer? For the first decades of Christianity, the stories were oral. Did you ever play Telephone?

Transmission Chain

Your explanation is his apostles and disciples didn’t lie.? They made an error that Jesus rose from the dead?

How does that work?
Someone claimed they saw Jesus alive and some people believed it and repeated it. How does any rumor get started? Elvis lives, chopped cherry trees, stopping a war in 24 hours, etc.

So who made up all of the details in the narratives?

That must have been one massive telephone game.

The risen Christ appeared to a variety of individuals and groups, with accounts in the Bible describing appearances to at least eight different groups of people over a 40-day period. While the Bible details specific instances, it does not explicitly state that these were the only appearances.

Here's a breakdown of some of the groups Jesus appeared to:

Why would they do that?
Competition from pagans.
Salesmanship.

Funny that the #1 issue for Christians has so many versions, tells me the story had many creators/embellishers/editors/etc.

To convert the pagans and Jews.
Oh. So you believe they embellished Jesus rising from the dead so they could convert pagans and Jews to Christianity?

Did they believe Jesus rose from the dead?
