As many ppl may or may not know, the vast majority of these franchises don't promote ppl from with from cashier all the way up to manager. It's simply easier to hire someone with some sort of degree to be a manager. This kid must have worked his ass off to get that position. Even if this old man had not died, he would have not only lost his job and been personally liable to that old racist geezer but he likely would never be able to work as a manager anywhere else. That would have been the best case scenario. Now he's going to jail for manslaughter. Good grief. What a fucked up culture.

That's highly unlikely. You don't become a manager because you have friend who works there, unless that friend is the owner of the Dunkin Donuts.

happens all the time hiring friends and relatives in fast food. and you never can find these lazy managers of these chump joints. they dump the job on emloyees so they can stay on vacation.
