On one hand you have pregnant women coming to the USA just to have a baby be an American citizen by being born here....then as the baby's mother she gets a way into the country .....

The downside?
Nobody, even naturally born to American Citizens, is free from proving their parents were Americans when they were born...

Creating room for all sorts of deportation scams and corruption by powerful people wanting to exert authority over average people.

So what do you think?

There is and never was birthright citizenship. It’s just another twisting of words by the democrats for votes.

Everyone in this nation may be subject to our Laws, but they're Subject of Jurisdiction is the nation of their origin, equals nation of their citizenship. Persons born here are only citizens if their parent(s) are also citizens.
" and subject to the jurisdiction of the United States" were the indigenous peoples who were part of the autonomous Indian Nations. Everybody else was subject to the USA jurisdiction, with a few exceptions. Immigrants from other nations are not excluded by the amendment. If you want that to be the case, change the amendment.

The 14th Amendment is socialism? How about the socialism Trump invokes when he demands that the US Federal Government own part of a private corporation? Like he had done with Nippon Steel and Intel?
As of August 2025, the U.S. government took a nearly 10% equity stake in the American chipmaker Intel. This was announced by the Trump administration, converting $8.9 billion in federal grants into stock.

I am against birthright citizenship for ANYONE. My family has been here since the 1640s. No child of mine should simply get citizenship for being born. Citizenship should be EARNED.

Children born here with at least one American citizen parent will still be granted citizenship.
What Trump wants to do is stop granting citizenship to the off spring of illegal aliens
Birthright citizenship was never intended for illegal aliens.
