Just heard rainforest aquaculture(tilapia.com) is offering people, in these parts, a Kilo per couple for free this weekend.They wont be flooded.We're super rural. Hours from large communities.Maybe several hundred people at most(no crowds permitted) but it's nice of them to offer. They run 24/7 so it'll be ok.

Your thinking of the first decade of the 1900s, 1900-1909. By the 1930s, people were essentially living the same way we do today in terms of ESSENTIALS LIKE FOOD, ELECTRICITY, WATER and TRANSPORTATION except for air travel. That's why there were soup kitchens and other mass efforts to feed people. People had left the farm life behind and were living in the city and suburbs in the 1930s, going to the supermarket for food. Most people had one car, electricity, running water, a telephone, and a radio in the 1930s. I know because I have studied the 1930 and 1940 census figures which report many of these things per household.
