Bidenomics: Unemployment Goes Up Again in June

The U.S. economy added 850,000 jobs in June as the pace of the recovery surged — quieting simmering fears, at least temporarily, of more lasting harm from labor and supply shortages.
The unemployment rate changed little, ticking up to 5.9 percent from 5.8 percent.
The news is likely to be seen as a good sign for the economy more than one year into the pandemic, after numerous wrinkles have emerged to complicate a labor recovery many hoped would be faster at this level of vaccinations.

It ticked up because of people flooding back into the labor market.

All is proceeding as foretold.

6.Is the count of unemployed persons limited to just those people receiving unemployment insurance benefits? No; the estimate of unemployment is based on a monthly sample survey of households. All persons who are without jobs and are actively seeking and available to work are included among the unemployed. (People on temporary layoff are included even if they do not actively seek work.) There is no requirement or question relating to unemployment insurance benefits in the monthly survey.

Hilarious. Biden gets higher and higher unemployment during his ‘recovery’.

Trump saw 1.4 million jobs in a month.

U.S. job growth accelerated in June, with payrolls gaining the most in 10 months, suggesting firms are having greater success recruiting workers to keep pace with the broadening of economic activity.

Nonfarm payrolls increased by 850,000 last month and the unemployment rate edged up to 5.9%, a Labor Department report showed Friday. May payrolls were revised up to a 583,000 gain. The labor force participation rate held steady and remained well short of pre-pandemic levels.

Thank you!

I will take 850,000 new jobs EVERY month
Trump saw 1.4 million jobs gained.
He also LOST 8 million jobs and finished his term with one million fewer jobs than he started with

More hilarious was Tramp jacking up the UE rate from 4.7% when he started to 6.3% when he left in the greatest economy in the history of the universe, but Biden bringing Tramp's failed 6.3% UE rate down to 5.9% and somehow that is terrible. :cuckoo:
Conservatives have never been good at math
