The facility is owned by the city of Grand Prairie, TX and is operated by American Resort Management also of Grand Prairie.

As for the rules, it's likely no different from a church that holds their weekly services in a public school or other municipal facility.

Epic Waters in Grand Prairie, Texas drew outrage this week as it released fliers for the June 1 event, which will demand a 'modest dress code' and serve only Halal-slaughtered meat.

Posters for the event say it will be 'for Muslims only' to create a 'family-friendly environment', with tickets starting at $55 each.

The waterpark's website notes that men and women will not be separated during the event, but attendees are told to 'uphold Islamic etiquette' by 'lowering the gaze' throughout the day.

Huh, my biggest question is why is there a tax payer funded water park to start with?

IMHO Texas is the most overrated "free" red state.

All things considered I bet it's more peaceful than their Juneteenth celebration and with 87% less twerking.

It is owned by the city.
