What do you really think the chances are of a case this important to the state and the political narrative gets charged and then not convicted?

Seriously.

You had better believe that the powers pushing the narrative are all over ensuring this goes the right way. I have very little doubt that there will be a conviction here. The more interesting thing will to see if it is nothing more than a pointless token to hang the narrative on, a few nutcases trying to do nutcase things, or if there was a real concerted effort to make change. It is more than likely the former but if it is the latter then we have larger issues.

Trump got impeached twice. The second one was a load of horseshit.
Clinton got impeached for saying he didnt have sex with someone. as if its anyones business, besides the 3 people involved.
It was partisan bullshit.

No, he was impeached for lying to a grand jury. The subject matter doesn't matter. He swore to tell the truth and he lied.
