They are just part of NATO. Of course, I support NATO, am an aging Cold Warrior and participated in NATO exercises and missions at unit level and Corp G3 staff duty officer positions, so what would you expect?

They weren't paying what they were obligated to pay.
It seems we've been feeding NATO for decades and whenever anything comes up they still need the US to give more.
I guess the no longer needed NATO should reevaluate what it should cost each nation.

I am pretty well aware, we have been picking up the lions share since WWII. We lost 183,000 American military plus, retaking Europe from Hitler's totalitarian Nazi regime. The money is worth it, not to have fight our way onto the continent and do it again to keep it from Russia.
