It really doesn't matter what Trump says or does. He could flip flop and lie on basically any political issue. Trumpsters will still like him.

Beyond that, he rarely talks about specifics when it comes to policy. I mean that's typical of most republicans, but Trump especially is pretty light on specifics. How are Trump supporters not aware of this?

"Are Trump supporters the biggest simpletons?"

For the most part, yes.

The rest are partisan rightwing hacks who know Trump is a loon and not fit to be president but don’t care as long as they can retake the WH.

You do know that a lot of Trump supporters are Dems, right? And many Bernie supporters will choose him over Hillary. Name one politician who gave specifics?

Obama just said he'd fundamentally transform America via hope and change. Talk about simpletons. Some thought he was going to put gas in their car and pay for their house. A bunch of people once lined up because they believed they were going to get some Obama money. Bill Clinton talked about a bridge to the 21st century and the left swooned.

At least Trump gets specific on what he wants. Of course, a president is supposed to convince congress before anything happens.

I think one of his biggest problems has been being too specific. No candidate knows what kind of Congress they'll have to work with, all of that is yet to be determined as well. It's difficult to promise specifics without knowing you can deliver on the promise. But that hasn't stopped Trump from making some pretty fucking bold promises.

The specifics are more difficult to pin down because you're asking for the impossible. Whether or not you accept his assurances the specifics will be handled by him... that's really all you can go on. And that is true for every politician really... Hillary and Bernie can promise specifics all day long, we don't know if that would be delivered.

hillary was always against nafta

something bill touted as awesome, but she jokes that she will put him in charge of the economy b/c he was so good with it. The same man that needed a tech bubble to stay afloat and when that popped, created the housing bubble that nearly took the world into another depression.

but trump is vague, so that's bad

leftist are such sheep, never has one of them had a free thought of their own

Are you kidding me? Bernie has been specific about every position he has pushed. Trump has barely said shit. All we know for sure is that he wants to build a wall. Don't you think that's kind of pathetic?

Oh and most of the Bernie or Bust crowd won't vote at all. They don't like Trump. I guarantee it.

To be honest, the biggest problem in the US is with people who have miserable lives.

Obama once made a comment about people clinging to their guns for hope, and I don't think he was wrong at all.

Some people cling to sport, other people cling to other things.

Politicians who offer hope are very popular, people want to believe desperately, that they'll just ignore reality and pretend.

When your sports team wins something, so what? Does it improve your life? No, not at all, but it seems to be human nature to see this is an improvement in your life.

It's quite sad.

I think Bernie supporters give Trump supporters a run for their money on this one

Basically "I'm a Republican now, I think I'll support what the Republicans support so they'll vote for me, then I'll change and say it was just a suggestion".
Basically, he's for the American worker and in helping Americans. America First. No immigration, unless we need them. No imports that we can't make here unless their tariff'd to the point that their cost equals what ours would be while paying an American living wage.

I'm not voting for him because I'm a conservative. I'm voting for him because I'm an Uber driver and don't want to be replaced by an illegal alien.

I think Hillary supporters are pretty damn silly too, don't you?

How does it feel now that the proverbial shoe is on the other foot?

All they want is someone who 'appears' to want to just tell everyone what to do and they'll shut up about it.

Trumps and his dopey followers are in for a rude awakening if the impossible happens and he is elected. The president can't do all that much on his own. Congress, as we've seen with the Republicant's in control of the House for many years, can simply do nothing if they don't like the president as they have with Barack Obama.

My guess is the Democrats have already decided a president Trump will get no judges approved during his entire term and any legislation he puts forth will fail.

Payback is a bitch Republicans. Of course this is only the result of a hail mary miracle where Trump wins. He'll likely suffer one of the worst defeats in the last 100 years and the Republican party won't be that dissapointed about it.

You've voting for the small fraction of a man because you are woefully ignorant of economics (if what you're stating is true about his positions). If you're an Uber driver, be ready to start putting the hammer to your customers since you'll be paying more for nearly everything.

The greatest comedic act ever is that Drumpf supporters seem to think that Apple, Dell, HP, GE, Swingline, Lexmark, Ricoh, Samsung, Black and Decker (just looking at the name brands around the office) will simply absorb the tarrif and charge what they have been charging for coffee makers, microwave ovens, copier,s comptuers, cellular phones, etc... That will all get passed on to the consumer.

Trump is quoted as saying "wages are too high" so don't expect your paycheck to be on the upslope with his ahem..."leadership".
