Help. This is the loon who claims that he knows more about all the religions than the people who practice them, and that's why he's agnostic, lol.

He says that as he consistently posts backward and incorrect garbage about every single one he enters into a convo about.
"Messianic Judaism". There. Hope that's helpful.
Christian or Jew, pick one?

Looks like they consider themselves both. Why should I pick? They can be whatever they want to be.
Take a stand, for God.

I don't need to. If they're Jewish Christians, good for them.
So you believe Jews can be Christians and at the same time still Jews? Tell you what, present to the family theologian and see what he has to say? And, how about a Muslim Jew? Or a Muslim Christian? How about an Atheist Christian? Any problems with that?

Yea! Jews for Mohammad!

And ask your Rabbi if you are still a Jew or a traitor. LOL.

I feel sad for you that you think you must dictate people's beliefs to them. If they consider themselves Jewish Christians, what's it to you? Who are you to say they're not?

I believe Jews for Jesus can be Jews the same way I believe Baptists can be Christians.

I have to ask my Jew for Jesus friend if his kids got ba mitz vad or just baptized.

I remember a PBS special on how the Jews moved to America and decided to give up a lot of the Jewish rules so they could fit in here in America. They decided they could eat things traditional Jews could not eat. They would stop wearing the yamaka and cut the locks. Not wear the hacidic jewish outfits and so on.

Traditional Jews didn't think they were Jewish enough. Christians do the same thing. Born agains tell the rest of us we aren't doing enough and need to be saved again in their church.

I wonder if Jews for Jesus go through the test to become Jewish or if they just get baptized in a Christian church.

Jesus wasn't even a member of your church. LOL.

And all a Jew for Jesus is is a person who grew up Jewish but converted to Christianity. Since Jews think they are the chosen people, Jews for Jesus have all their bases covered. Brilliant!

Someone who knows both religions. They aren't compatible, if they were they wouldn't have had Jesus killed.

Romans killed jesus. Jews can follow jewish laws, holy days and traditions. Jews attend synagogue. Jews can also believe in Jesus as both man or something more. There are even rabbis that believe jesus is the messiah. That does not mean they are christian that believe in the divinity of jesus, that he rose from the dead, descended to hell or ascended to heaven to sit as part of the trinity. They don't have to take communion or observe the text or dictates of the roman or christian church to believe in the teachings of jesus. Jesus was from the house of david, was circumcised, taught the torah, observed the passover, prayed at the temple, was annointed, was a leader of jewish and non jewish people.

Christians used to attend synagogue for the first hundred years after jesus death. Jews are not stuck down if they enter a christian church or even read the NT or any other religious text.

People can call themselves what ever they want. They can believe in elements of more than one school of thought. They can find their own common ground or make up their own beliefs.

There are infinite shades of grey and colors. Not everything is black or white.

I think people create their own hell out of their own guilt. Actual punishment after death should be the purview of god if you commit a crime against god. A crime against a state or man is subject to the laws and punishment of the country.
I don't know what happens after death. I don't know what god/he/she/it thinks or does. I can make my own conclusions of what I want or think might happen. When we die perhaps we will find out. If there is nothing after death, oh well.
I have studied a number of faiths trying to understand people. I see similarities among many faiths and the natural progression of religion. I don't have to agree or believe in any one to come to my own conclusions. Our actions against man are accountable here on earth. People write laws for society to live by. We are judged by our peers according to those laws. What happens to our souls would fall into the category of god not man.
It does not much matter what I believe will happen. It matters what each person believes will or should happen to them. It matters what they believe god will do. I care more about what happens here.

I'm with you here, Aris. As I told my Iranian Muslim neighbor the other week that I don't care what anyone believes in as long as they are not out to kill me. Here in America there are many different kinds of beliefs, and somehow most people are able to get along with each other regardless of what they believe in. Interestingly enough she told me she took a class in religion at college (probably comparative religions), and really saw no difference in people and their religion so even though she is still a Muslim, she sent her daughters to Catholic school.

As long as your religion doesn't really matter you can get along fine. It's when it does matter that all hell breaks loose, pun intended.

Why are you so obsessed with the Jews? I think most rational people are more concerned with the Golden Dawn and the rise of anti-Semitism in Greece. However, reading your posts, I can easily see why the Greeks cooperated with the Nazis when they came to Salonika.

The frightening popularity of Golden Dawn apos s anti-Semitism in Greece - LA Times

I would call them an Arab, a Caucasian and a Negro. As far as their religion, that is their business.

Jews who believe in Jesus? Are they Christians or Jews?

"We believe that God the Father is the author of eternal salvation, having loved the world and given His Son for its redemption.

We believe that Jesus the Messiah was eternally pre-existent and is co-equal with God the Father; that He took on Himself the nature of man through the virgin birth so that He possesses both divine and human natures."
Established 32AD give or take a year - Jews for Jesus
of course they are Christians in the way of religion. But by nation they are jews. There is difference between nationality and religion. First apostles were from jew's nation, but however they are Christians!
The Jews are a religion, a culture, and a race, but what are the Jews for Jesus, Jews or Christians?
For Christians the Jews are type of believers, cause in Bible written that "there is no Greek or Jew, no one with circumcision or without circumcision, no division between nations, no servant or free man: but Christ is all and in all." If you switch your faith, you switch your mind and behavior and that's it.

Bullshit. She didn't say her religion didn't matter, and she didn't say that as long as other people's religion didn't matter to them she was fine with them. She said as long as they weren't trying to kill her, she didn't care what they believed.

Which is what makes you such a pig. You're obsessed with what others believe, and you want to dictate to them what they should believe, while maintaining (stupidly) that you know more about it than they do. It isn't your job to tell people what they should believe, or how important their faith should be to them, and you have no right to dictate such things. Thank goodness you aren't allowed to in this country, and in most civilized countries in the world.

The US traditionally has been a religious country..and traditionally, the more religious we were, the stronger, the more productive, and the freer we were as a country and a people. It wasn't until pieces of shit like you started infiltrating the landscape that things turned to crap..

This one not only wants life, she wants an after-life, as if this one doesn't actually matter because eternity awaits. What a way to spit in God's eye and reject the gift he already gave you, life. For the Christians that is not enough.
