I do not believe the voters would vote for whatever end-run Trump has in mind to serve another term in office. For sure there are MAGA people who would vote for Trump no matter what, but winning any kind of flim-flam election is highly unlikely. Even if he was eligible to run again, I think he wouldn't win cuz he's turning off too many people. BUT - that said, it could depend on who the democrat is that runs against him. I am not sure the democrats could win with some wild-ass super progressive ultra-liberal socialist person, whoever that might be. Gonna be interesting to see who wins in next year's mid-terms.

A twice serving president can run for VP and then be president if the VP steps down. It's a loophole.

Common sense and current law tells us that a 3rd term for Trump isn't doable, even the idea is not good. Searching for loopholes and end-runs around the law is not the way this country should be lead, and don't tell me it's only Trump that is doing it. We are supposed to be a nation of laws rather than men, but both parties are chipping away at that concept.
