Trump Told by Alan Dershowitz Constitutionality of Third Term Is Unclear

When he spends or authorizes the first dime on a new presidential campaign, he should be impeached, for going against his oath to the Constitution, charged as an anarchist with treason to the United states. Pleading ignorance, is no defense. Right now it is just all talk to piss off the Dems and most Americans, as 54%-59% do not approve of him, already, (this includes 25% of Republicans) and he knows it.
What does it matter?

By the time the Supreme Court gets around to hearing arguments then making a ruling, he'll likely be on his fifth term.

One unintended benefit to the blob's rather comedic presidency is that it's becoming more and more vivid that we need to codify what happens if the previously "unthinkable" were to take place. Clearly, we can't rely on statesmanship any longer.

Honestly I think President Trump is looking forward to not having so much responsibility and being able to play a round of golf without the TDS infected making that a federal offense, spending time with his grandkids and other family who adore him, and actually enjoying retirement in the years he has left.

He darn sure isn't putting himself through all these wringers for any personal benefit. I believe he does want to leave a legacy of real benefits to American and Americans that people will remember and appreciate.

"Look into my eyes! I OWN YOU! I OWN YOU!"

True, but the two houses of congress cannot find their butt with both hands, failing to legislate, afraid to move, for years.

SCOTUS will never rule that Trump can run again.
Period.
I find myself agreeing with you....the incumbent justices have pretty much done all the damage they've dreamed of doing for ages.

On the other hand...if there are some new justices on the bench by the time 2028 rolls around, the blob will of course make sure he appoints someone who will look favorably upon his wanting to remain in office.

That would be great.

Just fantasy, but....

Trump shouldn't run again. He's already done enough to join the pantheon of US presidents with Reagan and those on Mount Rushmore.

Time to pass the baton to JD Vance who, some catastrophe not-with-standing, is a sure bet in 2028 especially considering the wreck of the Democrat party.
If you insist on putting Trump on Mt. Rushmore, I'll go along if his mugshot is used.
