Allen West is a disgrace.

I am a retired Navy man. 20 years. I support the troops a hell of a lot more than a lot of civilians I know. I also know we have rules we follow because we are the best fighting machine in the world. We have those rules for a reason and this jerk just didnt care.

In my circle of vet friends, we say he is a disgraced Army officer who was forced to retire. Non of us were forced out. We went out with dignity.

don't you even try comparing your experiences or, more properly, lack there of, to his........please huh. :eusa_shhh:

Mudwhistle said this to me: Oh, and one more thing......thanks for supporting our troops.

I then told him I did support our troops and explained I did 20 years in the Navy.

The only comparison I did to this piece of shit was to say I retired and was not forced to do so. I want to repeat this, I retired and did not the have the choice of facing two violations of the ucmj or going to courts martial where I could have faced 10 years.

Again, this idiot to the army, every single service member serving and who is retired. He is a disgrace.

Those two infringements from an army officer is disgusting and if he was on our side, you would say the same damn thing.

Now, let me guess; you got through your entire illustrious career, and never broke a single regulation; not a one, right? I don't mean you didn't happen to get caught. You never violated a single one. Funny how every career military liberal here was a complete choirboy/girl for twenty years or more. My word, what a collection of saints! Do pardon my skepticism, but methinks some of you protest too much!

I sure as hell did'nt violate article 128 like west did. Nope, no charges/conviction/fine/forced retirement for me. Does this answer your question? :clap2:

First of all, you didn't spend one damn day in the Navy....It's only too damn obvious......Had you been through basic/boot, you would have had to endure that boring ass UCMJ class that every member of the armed forces must sit through. You damn sure would have known the differences between Article 15 and court martial, And you would know about article 32.

Second of all, you are abjectly LYING in stating that West was forced to retire, or face court martial........That is a blatant ******* lie, and only further shoves what lil' integrity you may have HAD, straight dowm the ******* toilet!

Quit your fuckin' lying, ZONA!

I asked you this..."What exactly is an article 128? Then get into article 134". Do you need help with this? Did you read what happended here. I know the differnce between an article 15 and a courts martial.

Did he retire because he wanted to or did he have to get out and pay 5k or face a courts martial?

Oh and you saying I didnt serve..you are acting like a child. A message board guy is going to tell me I didnt get my dd214 in 04.
You're done, Zona.

You've been nothing but dishonest in the two threads pertaining to this issue.

I don't believe a damn thing form you anymore.....You are a dishonest hack, nothing more.

I don't believe you served... I don't believe any of your claims of ANYTHING.

You blatantlly tried to deceive, both on the other thread, where I fully made you look like a lying fool, to this thread where you came up and tried to continue your blatant LYING!

You cannot provide one shred of evidence that West was forced to resign, or faced court martial had he not resigned.......NOT ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE, but you've been cackling on like it's the absolute truth.

I believe nothing that comes from you....You shot your own credibility down the tubes, with your blatant twists and lies.......You are a hack, nothing more!

And yes, West is more of a man and patriot than you could ever hope to be.......LIAR!

He had no business doing what he did and what he did, he did wrong.

He had ZERO responsibility for doing that and you saying this was called in my original post. Like I said, civilians have no idea the importance of the ucmj and rules when it comes to our great military force.

Do you not get it. He had no business doing what he did, he did it incorrectly and had to pay for it by being forced to retire and pay a fine. That is a disgraced man.

Yeah, anybody who never served would not have been in a position to violate ANY article.

So, I guess I have to believe you on one issue.

Fuckin' dishonest hack!

Marc, how about telling us just where you acquired your sudden respect for regulations and the UCMJ, specifically as these apply in ground combat against an insurgency. I know what my experience in those matters is; WHAT'S YOURS?

Then you get it. You understand what this disgraced x army officer did. You know how serious rules are out there and for someone to do such a horrible job in a situation he should NEVER have been involved in, he was busted.

Thank god, someone who gets it.
Yeah, I get it; what I get, is that Col. West elected to potentially sacrifice his career, in the belief he was protecting the lives of the soldiers in his command. I happen to think that is a noble act, not a disgrace. Let me put it another way; as someone who has been in combat, I would rather be led by men like Col. West or Col. North, than by some careerist with his regulation happy nose buried in the regulations and the UCMJ. I've got no use for barracks lawyers. You still have not answered my question. Do you have any personal experience with having to choose, in a combat situation, between following regulations to the letter, and the welfare of the people you are commanding? If not, YOU DON'T "GET IT"!

I said it in the first post of this thread..I provided a link that said he was forced to get out and be fined. I said it will be the hardest thing ever for you but I wanted you to show me a link that says he didnt.

I knew you couldn't...but YOU ARE DONE WITH ME..Poseur. lololololol

Oh and again with this about me not serving. Stop being a little child.

84-88 aimd nas south weymouth First job...w/c 900 (gse) then the Cal lab w/c 670 (they closed this base a few years ago)
88 92 VF-301 (fighters in miramar. Hngr 5! They decommissioned though. Bummer) My favorite time in the service...Old old old birds though. We had a high maintenance man hours to flight hour ratio...
92-94 VAW-88 E-2's Same hngr as 301 but down the hall.(big plate on the top of our birds.... the reason why it was only 2 years is because they gave the damn base to the marines and decommissioned every squadron in that hanger...vf301 vf302 and vaw88)
95-98 Nar San Diego (North island...I spent the rest of my career on north island)
98-02 VR-57. C-9's. Most traveling in my career. We literally went around the world with all those dets). Fun fun fun place.
02-04 HC-85...freaking helo's but a cool way to end my career.

I really enjoyed going down this trip down memory lane and could care less if you believe me or not. I would like to thank anyone who was not forced to retire though. Thank you all.

West, who was never trained and had never witnessed an interrogation, tortured someone. By torture I mean kidnapping, blindfolding, and beating while under interrogation. He was then slapped on the wrist by the army, charging him with assault rather than war crimes, or even kidnapping.

I just want to repeat that every couple pages so that people can remember what the facts of the situation are.

Yeah. What a brave man. Breaking that onerous rule against TORTURE in order to investigate his own assassination plot.

Be careful, Wicked Jester will tell you he is through with you.. :clap2:

I suppose that if one of our soldiers or civilians gets captured, you wouldn't have a problem with them torturing him. After all, our enemies have just as much of a duty to protect there soldiers as we do. And what's the best way to protect soldiers? Is to torture someone into giving you information that leads nowhere.

I mean if we do it, how can we really complain when they do it? We should just ignore the Geneva Convention entirely. It's just a bullshit regulation that's meant to be second guessed by officers in the field who have zero interrogation experience or training. That's the kind of initiative taking that's gonna win us the hearts and minds of every person that we ineptly torture!

NO! I asked if you ever violated regulations; which one(s) doesn't matter. Are you perfect, or not? Let's hear it! Let me ask one further question; have you ever been in ground combat? When you have, you can come back here and pontificate on the importance of being regulation happy, swabbie; until then, you're just a damn sea lawyer. Now, as far as I know, I never directly violated any regulations in Vietnam, but I skated the ragged edge of some. I put my ass on the line for my soldiers, and if I had found it necessary, I'd have put my career on the line for them too; I'm happy to say that used to be a common virtue, or at least, it was in that conflict.
