In addition, there are some people of faith who view Jews as their enemies. This is the primary challenge Israel has. There are International powerful governments who happily fund Israels enemies. What behavior are you talking about that has caused them to receive such treatment over the centuries?

They continue to be charged with genocide today as the reason to hate them, but why were they hated before?

In fact, the UN has passed more resolutions against Israel than any other country on earth, and this was well before their current war in Gaza that they have received all kinds of hate over. In fact, it has condemned Israel 3 times as much as all the countries of the world combined, and this was before the Gaza war that spews 24/7 propaganda about how terrible the Jewish people are in response to 10/7.

Sorry, I don't buy it. In fact, I remember when the Muslims in Northern Sudan was engaged in a genocide against the Christians in the South, but the news only covered Israel trying to build walls to keep out terrorists, as if that was such a terrible, terrible thing to do.

This activity from the UN verifies for me the rampant antisemitism in the world that has always been there.

North Korea alone should have a resolution passed against it about every day as they starve to death their own people, and God only knows what else is done to them, but by far, the most oppressive regime in the world yet no one says a peep.

Well every group of history has faced persecution at some point. Jews have also persecuted innocent people going back to the ancient era.

The truth of the matter is the holocaust I believe did occur. Let’s always remember though that Jews thrived in the Soviet Union, the United States and the British empire where something like 1 million Jews fought for the military of these countries. I’ve seen a documentary series on Russian Jews, veterans of World War II and in their own words say they felt that they were Soviet Patriots. I know some people like to try and shoot that down. I’ve seen enough evidence to prove otherwise. And I’m talking about Jews who continue to live in the Russian Federation after the end of the Soviet Union, they have absolutely no reason to lie as there are people in Russia today citizens of Russia who despise the times of Soviet Union. And they do it openly on camera. And I am no fan of communism. But I think that it’s an interesting sidenote.

As for the middle ages, there were numerous cases of Jews being kicked out of Catholic countries, for example. But there’s also proof that Jews also thrived in plenty of Islamic and Catholic kingdoms throughout history. Otherwise, there will be no European Jews today. Common sense would tell us there was probably an overreaction by the Catholic kingdoms to a few bad Jews as being responsible for widespread problems. I mean, there’s no doubt there’s been criminals in every group of people all throughout history that includes Jews in the European middle ages.

We can recognize that every group of people has faced persecution. I don’t know if Jews have faced the most. Perhaps the holocaust was the worst single event of racism ever. It was also done in an industrial age. But we have to be careful, especially those of us with European ancestors to not provide some kind of a blank criticism to all Europeans because of the fact that numerous times throughout European history, catholic kingdoms have discriminated against Jews as a whole. Because the fax is not all of them did that.

For example, today we see Jews at the top of the socioeconomic scale across the world.

For example, among Jews in the US, they far outrank any other group of religious folks in the US in terms of wealth.

How on earth can they ever escape poverty at such levels no matter how many government programs and laws are sent to help them? They got the "money" reputation because they weren't restricted by their religion on the concept of interest. Muslims can't charge interest, and Christians were limited depending on how serious they took the whole usury thing.

The thing is if you went to Eastern Europe during the 1700's and 1800's most Jews were rural, dirt poor, and lived in their own communities isolated from others.

People single out the Jews in the US as improving their station (mostly to think there was something sinister about it), yet immigrants like Italians and Irish did the same thing at around the same time.

The smartest thing some Jews did in general in the early 1900's was get their kids out of organized crime, something the Italians should have done.

Well Jews need to attempt to convert people to Judaism. That has been a problem with Jews throughout history. Some people have converted to Judaism including in the ancient era but there needs to be bigger outreach programs today. That’s why their numbers are small compared to say, Islam, Hinduism or Christianity.

If antisemitism was such a problem than the majority of the worlds Jews would not live outside of Israel. They’re all over the world. Concentrated mostly in Israel and in America. But significant portions in Russia, South America, also even in Iran and Turkey.

Riddle me this, you mock the notion of God but why is it that the Jews were targeted for persecution during the bubonic plague devastated Europe, because they were not dying at the rate of the rest of society?
