Yes they did. Zelensky came to Washington fully intending to sign the deal he had made. But before the meeting in the Oval Office he met with several congressional Democrats who told him to nix the deal. That resulted in the shameful scene (on his part) in the Oval Office.

I posted earlier in this thread that my gut suggested somebody got to Zelensky before that meeting. How right I was. But it wasn't the deep state I suspected. It was the Democrats in the U.S. Congress. And in my opinion, every one of those counseling Zelensky are very close to being guilty of treason.

Hopefully Zelensky has rethought that or has been properly pressured by his own people and may be ready to resume the deal now.
