Are we talking about Sweden or Switzerland.
Hitler didn't take Sweden because the Swedes were happy to sell Germany Iron Ore and other materials to support their war effort.
The Swiss were spared because Swiss neutrality helped all sides.
The population of Switzerland was 4.2 million in 1940. Germany's population after the Anschluss was 70 million.
The reason why Switzerland wasn't invaded was because there was no tactical reason to after the fall of France. It was completely surrounded.
Switzerland.
Hitler didn't care.........he hated the Switzerland. The military told him they couldn't hold the country, and it would cost them to much to try it...while the rest of Europe disarmed their people and left them defensless in the face of socialist mass murder.
