Any man who coaches girls sports should have his head examined. It is stupid on the level of pissing on the third rail.

It wasn’t hard for my coach. Both him and his assistant coach were part of “swimming families”. Their wives and children were all involved, time keeping, organizing rosters, etc. His assistant coach also headed up the learn to swim program, and the assistant’s son was the head lifeguard.

I compare this with my cousin’s experience. She was a championship level rower. Her coach was sexually involved with team members, played favourites and generally abused his Team Canada credentials.
