A Historic Day for the Republican Party

1. What is lost in the chaos of today is that Republicans lost a Senate they were in firm control of. They lost TWO seats in solid RED Georgia. The wild rants of the President and accusations of fraud in Georgia elections played a key role.

2. Congressional Republicans engaged in wild political theater to attempt to get a Vice President to overrule the will of the States and to get Senators and Congressmen to disallow the will of the people.

3. A defeated Republican President filled an angry mob with lies and misinformation and sent them to spill their wrath on a Congress in session. A woman was killed.
It doesn't matter how red Georgia is. Fraud always wins elections.

We had a record-breaking number of votes in 2020, entirely because of Trump. He woke up many people who would otherwise be apolitical.

Today, the entire country and the entire world saw a wreckless temper tantrum by a mob of angry Trump supporters inspired by idiotic conspiracy theories. How do you think that looks to people? The way Republicans are behaving could have lasting impacts on elections for years to come.

Oh yea, and they also lost the Senate because Georgia, freaking Georgia, turned blue.

Not a good day for Republicans.

You missed my Link from Reuters...The slums voted for more handouts.
On the other hand, the establishment on either side of the aisle has nothing to offer the slums but a meager welfare check.
i used to respect your posts

You sink lower and lower

Just go away
Here's what I surmise...
You live in a slum.
You like trespassers because they're cheaper labor than US citizens.
You don't mind US tax payer money going overseas because you don't have much money yourself.
You joined your local Democratic Club to get some consulting work.

That's why you see no wrong with the Ds and all bad with the Rs.
You're a suck up.
Yep and the lizard people stole your election. Lol Tin hat brigade just never shuts the fuck up do they. Lol

This could be the end of the republican party.

Almost certainly the end of tRump's influence.
Or not.

Having lived and studied American politics for the last 50 years, don’t be surprised if Republicans control Congress come 2023.

They’ll continue to control most of the state houses.

And they control the judiciary.

Counting the GOP out would be a mistake.
Why would anybody vote for a republican after today.
Because the alternative is a democrat. At least republicans are American.
Americans don't act like that mob did today..
I never equated that mob with Americans. They acted more like democrats.

tRumplings, each and every one.

You own it.

Get used to it.

Hard to believe that a day after Democrats took the Senate, no mention is made of the historic victory.

Seems Trumps only comment was that he was glad Perdue and Loeffler lost because they were not loyal enough

We may want hard liners to start running now for office. Ones who will be like Progs and not be apologists. With armed people for guards who take no crap. This is a possibility since we have to get used to it.

Ok, the battle has been lost. The “victors” are engaged in revelry because they have brought down Trump. (even though all he did and tried to do for America was valiant and good).

So now we have a corrupt, godless party in charge and a majority of its citizens on a high note.
Another major progression in “the dumbing down of America.”

(ps --- a stolen presidential election by a confirmed criminal party is no small matter. ---pardon the interruption)

What does that have to do with acknowledging that it was tRump supporters invading the Capitol?

Oh? Well what is it you have been watching for the last five years? I have a conscience. I doubt most of this nation does.

Why do conservatives suck at equivalencies ?

At no time in our history have we ever seen an attempt to take over our Democratic process like we saw yesterday

At no time in our history has a President incited a mob and sent them to attack the Capitol

At no time in history has this nation ever been filled with so many liars and crooks in the democrat party, in the mainstream media, and in the naive, clueless general population. You are covering for evil anti-American skulduggery by playing so naive.
