A female Senator is told to sit down...

Was it right to silence a Senator from Mass, who was impugning another Senator from Alabama.

  • No, because she is a victim of male chauvinism majority and she just wanted to not follow the rules.

    Votes: 0 0.0%
  • Yes, as a Senator of the US of A, she should follow rules like all the other Senators.

    Votes: 25 100.0%

  • Total voters
    25
That seems like a heavily biased survey question.

Not saying that I don't think warren shouldn't have been told to sit down, but this survey question is pretty silly.

What is hilarious is that after she was PWND and told to sit like a naughty student, the MSM suggested that was a launching point in her upcoming Presidential bid. That is proof of fake news yet again. The MSM assumed the nasty one would read that particular letter and not be told to sit down, shut up and get in the corner. :p

I thought Warren was a man. thats not a woman.

Warren Violated Debate rule XIX, a rule created as a result of a fist-fight in 1902. It bans debating senators from attributing “to another senator or to other senators any conduct or motive unworthy or unbecoming a senator.”

At the Podium Warren read a 1986 letter from Coretta Scott King, opposing Jeff Sessions’ nomination by President Reagan to become a federal judge:

“Mr. Sessions has used the awesome powers of his office in a shabby attempt to intimidate and frighten elderly black voters,” Warren read from the letter"

McConnell immediately took action:
“The senator has impugned the motives and conduct of our colleague from Alabama, as warned by the chair,” McConnell said, alluding to the line in the letter, “Sessions has used the awesome power of his office to chill the free exercise of the vote by black citizens in the district he now seeks to serve as a federal judge.”

McConnell called the Senate to order under Senate Rule XIX, which bans debating senators from attributing “to another senator or to other senators any conduct or motive unworthy or unbecoming a senator.”.

Once again, A Lib just can't seem to follow rules / laws. Warren broke the Rules and was immediately called on it. Simple as that.

Snowflakes, just pretend she is a pro choice woman...then it doesn't matter if she was silenced.
