92% reduction in the debt increase.

So why is this necessary?

It’s mostly necessary to make it nonissue for the budget. We all know the democrats aren’t going to vote to lower spending, their judges are fighting it every step of the way. It eliminates one of their talking points and ways to shut down the government.

Hopefully it’s not needed. But it’s a negotiating tactic the dems won’t have if it’s raised.

You my friend are likely an idiot. April tax collection drives the drop in deficit at this time and that has zero to do with Trump. Spending was up under Trump over that period. Idiocy.

As you can see below.

Those are budget numbers based on what has been approved to spend. Trump is trying to cut that.

Can you imagine how much better it would be without these moronic judges trying to stop his staff reductions? That would easily have put us in the black already.
Yes, those darn judges. Get rid of the judiciary and congress. They are getting in the way of the power of our almighty leader. The founding fathers had it all wrong with the seperation of powers bullshit

I don't believe that.

Spending wise.....I am just not sure how it's being done.
Its not being done. This is why only right wing kook sites are the ones reporting it.

Somehow at the end of his 4 years, there will be another $8T in debt. And every penny of that will be blamed on Congress by MAGA dolts because they can't blame the blob eventhough he signs off on every penny spent.

Hell yes! Only 8% to go before we start reducing the debt instead of adding to it.

Exactly what I voted for is happening.

I disagree because the majority of discretionary spending is military, and we have vastly more military spending than we need since we have not been attacked since 1812.
So the wrong things are being cut.
We could easily cut military spending in half, and have balanced the budget instantly.

Wrong.
Congress is to decide spending, not presidents, according to the Constitution.
And cutting the judiciary is totally illegal for presidents.

Those judges need to be held to account for what they did. No skating away.

Wrong.
Trump is violating the law when he cuts spending allocated by Congress.
The Constitution clearly gives the purse strings to Congress, and does not allow presidents to touch spending.

There’s no law that guarantees your government job. You can be fired or laid off in a heartbeat. No judge can force your employment.

If you have a government job, you can be laid off in a heartbeat, but ONLY by Congress.
Presidents get no say in funding according to the Constitution.

Gee they are so hard core in giving Trump credit for nothing.

Not looking at the big picture but interested in a minor blip on the screen

During Donald Trump’s whole presidency, the U.S. national debt increased by $8.18 trillion, a percentage increase of 40.43%. This is less than Barack Obama (69.98%) and George W. Bush (105.8%). However, Donald Trump was in office for only 4 years compared to 8 years for both Barack Obama and George W. Bush

So a minor blip with less than a year in office and the bragging rights have started

Not bother looking at the whole picture

What grade did you begin failing math? You need to go back and catch up.

Over 65% of the discretionary budget is military, so you can't balance the budget without cutting military spending, since that not only is the majority of spending, but is a total waste.

Yes, however a good percentage of the Judges from the Congress are Progressive Socialist Communist. These Judges have pure loyalty to the Progressive Socialist Communist party. They have cost us a lot of savings since Trump was sworn in. Prison, enslavement or execution is the prescription for them.

That is ridiculous.
There has not been a socialist or communist party since they were arrested in the 1950s.

The law is clear, that presidents get no say in funding at all.
And Trump has not cut the largest waste one bit, the military.

I personally worked on a Corporate budget and as part of the group working on that also put the corporation back into good shape. So I see precisely how Trump is solving such a major problem. I want the courts to stop operating as the president on such issues.

WRONG!
The Constitution clearly says that Congress controls funding.
And since the military is the largest and most wasteful, that is what needs to be cut the most.

We could have this fixed by now if the courts don’t think they were president. It’s obvious he has the power. So hopefully the SC does their job and shuts that shit down. By the end of the year we’ll be in great shape.

Wrong.
Trump does NOT at all have any legal power over spending.
His cuts not only are illegal, but entirely the wrong things that will cause massive harm.

I don't believe that.

Spending wise.....I am just not sure how it's being done.

The only legal way to balance the budget is though Congress.
Presidents are not supposed to control spending.

Hell yes! Only 8% to go before we start reducing the debt instead of adding to it.

I just heard that illegal border crossings are down by 99.99%.

Things have gotten so slow there that Border Patrol is getting bored and can often be found sitting around playing cards and board games to pass the time.

All this in 100 days from the president who Biden just said is having the worst first three months in US history.

Apparently, paying down the debt and defending our borders are to Joe Biden worse than 9/11, Pearl Harbor and the Great Depression to him.

They must surely be real bad news to Joe Biden--- it is proof positive that assquack was somewhere between totally incompetent and a treasonous spy.

Presidents have no jurisdiction over spending according to the Constitution.
It is for Congress to decide.
/-----/ What is your favorite fraud, waste and abuse you want back in back in place?
Besides you libtards love to blame Trump for the deficit then say only Congress can spend teh money.
