Not counting CPI and FBI, as no hard numbers were available, that is at least 6,000 plus law enforcement for a city of 693,000. That is at least one officer for every 115 people.
That is a hell of a ratio.

So if you take out the Active Duty Guard troops, you are at a 1 for 200 which is still well below your stated numbers (in following posts).

Which means that DC was getting miserable results for a very generous ratio.

Not really. There are hundreds if not thousands of FBI and CPI, also in that mix, but neither agency reports numbers, as most likely classified. And, it should be remembered, National Guard troops in Washington, D.C. do not have general law enforcement and arrest powers; they can assist law enforcement but primarily serve as a visible security presence.
