92% reduction in the debt increase.

A disastrously silly remark.

You watch Trumpfy , Titzy.
He will push the value of the dollar so low over summer that a Re-Set becomes the only way to get out of the cyclical Debt System .

Then it's all set for Bowie Land .

Don't blame me because you have difficulties with standard English .

However , you are absolutely right to say that I am a very cute Lady and that my posts are accurate and to the point .

But let me know if some specialist terms need detail
explanation .
Like Debt System , Re-Set , Cyclical etc

/----/ If you have difficulties with standard English, that's OK. It's you trying to inject humor with baby talk. It's almost impossible to understand what you are trying to say.

That is ridiculous.
There has not been a socialist or communist party since they were arrested in the 1950s.

The law is clear, that presidents get no say in funding at all.
And Trump has not cut the largest waste one bit, the military.
As usual you are wrong stupid and a liar

I disagree because the majority of discretionary spending is military, and we have vastly more military spending than we need since we have not been attacked since 1812.
So the wrong things are being cut.
We could easily cut military spending in half, and have balanced the budget instantly.
Yes we hjave been attacked since you ignorant shit sack

WRONG!
The Constitution clearly says that Congress controls funding.
And since the military is the largest and most wasteful, that is what needs to be cut the most.
/----/ So why do democRATs blame Trump for the deficit? The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been actively working with the Department of Defense (DoD) to identify and address wasteful spending, focusing on IT contracts, consulting agreements, and other areas. DOGE, led by Elon Musk and other advisors, is aimed at streamlining government operations and improving efficiency.

Compared to the national deficit of $1.06 trillion for the same period last year (Oct 2023 - Mar 2024), our national deficit has increased by $242 billion.

I'm not sure where the OP linked article got its figures for public debt changes between January 22 and May 6th and came up with the 92%. By my quick math (actually Excel's) I see things better than that:

During that period in 2024 our public debt increased by $484,175,922,116.10
During that period in 2025 our public debt decreased by $3,888,457,976.30

I gathered this from downloading a file from the US Treasury's Debt to the Penny website.

Nice calculation, but it doesn't really translate into the future.
After the GOP passes their $4T tax cuts without spending cuts the Debt will explode again.

Yeah truthfully, I can't say it what it says of the past either. Perhaps it reflects 2024 income tax revenue collected this Spring being a whole lot better than it was last year, but who knows? Being a fiscal conservative I'm happy about the good news on borrowing but the delight is way short to offset my disgust with the $5trillion proposed increase to the national debt limit.

/——/ The CBO estimates are static assuming tax cuts won’t spur the economy. Tax cuts actually increase revenue to the Treasury.

How? Be specific.

This will be a hoot.
How's Trump's "big beautiful bill" working out considering Smirking Jerkoff Johnson can't get the toddlers in his crew to agree on anything?

Now defend them because you'll never get the stink of to you, Trump's "big beautiful" ass off your breath.

Yes, those darn judges. Get rid of the judiciary and congress. They are getting in the way of the power of our almighty leader. The founding fathers had it all wrong with the seperation of powers bullshit
The founding fathers didn’t create district courts, Simp. Congress did.

That is a GOP lie, in fact its a whopper.
What actually raises the revenue isn't the tax cuts, its the massive GOP borrowing and spending to juice the economy that raises revenue. Its their standard lie to justify cutting taxes.
