But noooooo, Donald insisted that they prove that the election was rigged and that he won in a landslide.

So they quit.

All the Trump had to do was:
1. Bring in a DOJ lawyer to prove that the Trump speech was not illegal, and the DOJ would NOT be seeking any indictment for it.
2. Subpoena or request an opinion from the USSC on the constitutionality of the senate impeaching a private citizen.

Just remember republicans pulled off a coup in 2000 in Florida. They used a lot of the tactics they claimed were used on them without proof.

Throwing away votes because of hanging chads. They dont deny they threw out the votes. They say they had a good reason to. Hanging chads.

Starting a riot in hopes to stop the process and send it to the Supreme Court. It worked in 2000. See brooks brothers riots. The difference then was it was really close. This election wasnt close enough for trump to steal it.

But we should pay attention to these tactics they used in 2000 and 2020 are similar. And don’t let them try it again. No riots if a state is close and they are doing a recount. If you aren’t from the state, don’t get involved.

What trickle down has produced is the rich have never been richer and the middle class isn’t doing as good as it used to.

When I went to college it was $5000 a year. Things are out of wack.

And billionaires all doubled their wealth since coronavirus.

The fact that the trial starts in 8 days, and Trump's legal team walked out or were fired (the article said it was mutually agreed upon) does not bode well for the defense, not that it will matter since Republicans are not going to vote to convict anyway. However, it's just a coda to prove once again that everything that Trump is involved in becomes a fiasco sooner or later.

Basically, exactly as predicted, not only has Rump done for the country what he did for the USFL, but now he's done for his own impeachment trial what he did for the Atlantic City casino industry.


Speaking of which by the way, that big blowup is scheduled for February 17th. I'm thinking of gong to watch. Should be fun.
