There were FIVE swing states, all with Trump well in the lead, that simultaneously halted the count in the middle of the night, only to reopen with tens of thousands of new ballots to be counted, 99% of which went for Biden, all of which were mail ballots, and then - boom! - Biden pulls ahead in all five states.

Republican ballots whose signature no longer matches from 25 years ago, are allowed to come in and cure their ballot too. Considering voting is the heart of the constitution and our nation, it seems only fair and constitutional to allow a time period for this to be done.

I agree 3 weeks is a long time, though election results still are not due yet for the electoral college, so there is that time to do so. But maybe a week would be good enough?
