234,895,000 Americans with Drivers' license average $13 billion more per month out of pocket cost due to Biden!

The "Blame the President for Everything from Dandruff to Hemorrhoids" weenies like to fantasize that the POTUS is a great and powerful wizard who controls all things, but, in actuality, no American leader can do much about the price of gasoline.

Predicated upon a multiplicity of global, market factors, and ignoring the hyper-partisan snivelers, the prospects are intriguing:

The Energy Information Agency, in its monthly report on oil markets, predicted that oil prices will start to fall next year. OPEC also predicts a surplus of oil in 2022.
Nobody in the oil industry misses the irony of this moment: Major world leaders are calling for oil use to drop dramatically in the years ahead, to reduce the catastrophic impacts of human-caused climate change.
But in the near term, Biden and other leaders are desperate for energy prices, and eagerly welcome the prospect of increasing oil production.
Would reducing dependence on fossil fuels make the United States less dependent upon the inevitable vagaries of gasoline costs in the future? Indeed. It could then, finally, dance to its own tune, by cracky.

Your comment..."actuality, no American leader can do much" is true! Key word is "MUCH"!
But that which they can do, i.e. keep exploration of oil on land that 25% of American oil comes from would be helpful and NOT harmful!

Yes, very dumb indeed...yet here you are, saying it.
Once again. You really didn't get the point as it appears to have gone way over your head.
Here I'll simplify for say a 1st grader mentality!
According to you, you buy gas for your car from stock brokers? Because if you understood the process you'd understand the stock market doesn't set gasoline prices. The retailer does. The retailer does after prices are raised
for them by their gasoline supplier. Who's prices were raised by the refineries. And so on. Stock brokers had nothing to do with the price of gas.

You seriously need to put down the sandbox shovel and just read up on this topic. You sound silly.

According to a paper titled "Speculation in the Oil Market," which looked at the run-up in crude prices leading into the financial crisis, "peculation played a significant role in the oil price increase between 2004 and 2008 and its subsequent collapse." Meanwhile, another research paper went so far as to suggest that 60% of the price was "pure speculation." Backing up those claims is the significant rise in open interest on crude oil futures contracts over the past decade.

So you still contend that stock brokers set the retail price of gas you buy? That they tell the retailers, this is the price you sell your product for.

Thanks for your post

More reason we need to develop alternate fuels

Not at all. Alternate fuels wind, solar, battery are far more dangerous and destructive to the earth due to the rare earth minerals that must be mined, rivers that are contaminated, mountains that are excavated and detonated and the remediation of radioactive batteries, solar panels, etc. Conventional energy continually props up alternate energies.

Moonglow, Rightwinger, IM2, GolfingGator.....

These are all what you get from profound weakness and lack of resolve to fight for what is right.

Easy now...I side with Conservatives, I vote with Conservatives BUT they are the most nutless, spinless, big mouth pieces of shit that ever were. Come on man...they didn’t have the balls to keep heterosexual white Christians cool in a nation founded, built, run and funded by heterosexual white Christians. The Left has owned their sackless asses for decades....Sad but true.

So true BL, so true.
And these conservatives continue to be jerked into these humiliating discussions with people who are laughing hysterically at their weakness all the while.
Have you ever seen anything more pathetic?

Woohoo. Yeah. That’s awesome. People said I was foolish for investing in oil stocks. See who is laughing now? I am.

Go ahead. But those big cars with big engines. Keep paying me more money. Love it.

Plans for dealing with deteriorated turbine blades are insufficient and lead to absurd amounts of material and land waste.

There are around 58,000 wind turbines in the U.S. according to the U.S. Wind Turbine Database, with an estimated 3,000 more planned to be erected by the end of this year. While this looks like good news, it brings with it a problem that is becoming more intimidating as time progresses.

Turbine blades need to be replaced as frequently as every 10 years due to natural deterioration, damage or upgrades. As more turbines go up, it becomes a major issue to deal with so much waste.

There are currently no plans to dispose of retired blades in an environmentally friendly manner. The current process for getting rid of these blades is to pile them up and cover them with dirt like a mass grave.

Tossing these massive 120-foot pieces of fiberglass is incredibly wasteful and antithetical to the green aspect of this energy source. There are three alternatives to unsustainable landfills: recycling, repurposing and repairing.

Oil production for the last 5 years. Notice when the slash in production happened. I highlighted it for you.

The red dot is Biden's first full month in office.

Thanks for proving it skyrocketed under Trump until the China Flu closed the economy down.

Look how much lower it is today under the Potted Plant In Chief than it was under Trump before the China Flu.

yet it is still higher than when the potted plant took office.

Is this the part where you warn us about Windmill Cancer?

Large wind turbines require 200 gallons of oil in the gearbox, and that oil needs to be changed every 8-12 months.

And they frequently leak that oil.

Yes, Barry Hussein left Trump a clusterfuck when it comes to oil production.

All you ever do is parrot talking points and never look at the data.

US oil production went up 70% during the Obama years.

Stupid, it's the market traded FUTURES CONTRACTS that set the price of crude that is near identical to changes at the pump.

Your whole thesis that number of leases drives the near term pricing is plainly false and your historic lease data planlhy shows NO CORRELATION to gasoline prices.

[/stupid thread]

So YOUR dumb observation that oil futures determine the prices at the pump and nothing else? The gas station owners have no say? They don't determine the prices, oil-future brokers do? Wow... you truly are dumb!

Hey silly myth spreader, do you know how long it takes for even a single drop of oil to get to market from a new exploration you are claiming Biden is preventing this year?
2 weeks from extraction to the gas station.

Next dumbass question, antontoo

For the average motorist it takes a matter of minutes to fill up the tank. But have you ever paused to think about where the oil comes from, or how long it takes to get from the ground to the gas station? While there's no set timeline in place, experts estimate that the journey could take anywhere from two weeks to a month.

Is this the part where you warn us about Windmill Cancer?

No concern of mine. This is where we depend 80-100 percent of raw materials, rare earth metals, on foreign countries. That's just mineral dependence. We haven't even gotten into the discussion of how alternate energies are exponentially more dangerous to the environment than conventional energy.

I looked at YOUR chart, Dumbass.

Oil production increases under Barry was all on private land that he had zippo to do with. Public land production dropped under Barry, Moron. Trump cleaned up Barry's clusterfuck.
