234,895,000 Americans with Drivers' license average $13 billion more per month out of pocket cost due to Biden!

Pandemic?

Yes, pandemic. Because of that the oil production (along with most everything else) fell. Trump's fault? No. Biden's fault? No.

It's something that would correct itself but the markets are going to exploit it all they can.

how did Trump increase production? I see you are a vindictive hypocrite as far as who takes the heat because they are president.
Proof is what I provide! Look at this chart from the Federal Bureau of Land Management!
FACT is Obama had ONLY one year where he had signed more Federal land leases out of 8 years!
Trump was signing MORE leases.
Now why is that important?
FACT: Biden canceled Federal land exploration(where 25% of oil is produced today)
Oil from federal lands tops 1B barrels as Trump eases rules
FACT: As an oil company planner, IF YOU now know that future oil exploration on land that produces 25% today
WILL NOT be available in the future... what do you do? Lower gas prices or RAISE gas prices?
It is called "SUPPLY and DEMAND"! If the Supply is reduced and the demand goes up PRICES go up!
PURE and simple folks! And Biden contributed by his moratorium on exploration leases... ( and you and your MSM idiots who say there is more production now? Dummies!
That land had "exploration leases signed under Trump!)!!!!!

Perception is everything, Biden is president
And read my above post regarding PROOF! When you reduce exploration on land that produces 25% of your supply, what as an oil company planner would you do? Raise retail prices NOW!

NO SOURCE! NO LINKS. NO PROOF!
Again...NO SOURCE! NO LINKS. NO PROOF!NO SOURCE! NO LINKS. NO PROOF!NO SOURCE! NO LINKS. NO PROOF!NO SOURCE! NO LINKS. NO PROOF!NO SOURCE! NO LINKS. NO PROOF!NO SOURCE! NO LINKS. NO PROOF!NO SOURCE! NO LINKS. NO PROOF!NO SOURCE! NO LINKS. NO PROOF!NO SOURCE! NO LINKS. NO PROOF!

In 2020, about 123.73 billion gallons (or about 2.95 billion barrels1) of finished motor gasoline were consumed in the United State
There are 234,895,000 licensed-drivers-usa
Number of Licensed Drivers in US in 2021, How Many Americans Drive
Assuming these 234.9 million drivers, the United States Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration said that the average person drove 14,263 miles per year in 2019
When we divide 2020's consumption of 123.73 billion gallons by the roughly 234 million licensed drivers, it adds up to 519 gallons per driver per year or 43 gallons per month.
Given the below that a gallon of gas has gone up since 1 year ago 59% the average American driver is seeing their gas cost taking
increase $55.38 per month from last year at this time.
That is $13,008,164,271 per month or $156.097 BILLION a year cost in living expenses Americans are now PAYING!
One REASON?
oil company planners look at the FACT that Biden cancelled on exploration leases on land that provides 25% of gas consumed by Americans!

Biden issues broad moratorium on oil and gas leases on federal lands and waters

Thanks for your post

More reason we need to develop alternate fuels

Thank you was that so hard? Appreciate the link. I agree we had an increase in production. "Fracking" was a major contributor to USA becoming "energy independent" for the first time in 62 years!

Where is your proof we need to develop alternate fuels?
Climate warming? Really believe that the basis of temperature increase is this?
Now be honest and logical. Do you think the millions of manual readings are accurate enough to assume
the temperature has increased 1.53 degrees when before satellites, computers etc, the below was the process of recording temperatures. Plus 12% of the land mass wasn't included in that number by the way!

Sorry, but energy independence is a myth, nothing more. When outside forces control the price, we were not Independent

You just demonstrated what a reliance on oil is doing to us

What company has reduced exploration due to the paused lease lot sales? Got any experienced oil company planner's who can vouch for that?

What a shock.

Who would have thought when a president & Democrat congress assault gasoline for sake of electric cars it would result in an increase in cost for gasoline?

Weird.

The mineral leasing act is very clear that each state where there's interest, the Bureau of Land Management shall hold quarterly sales," said Kathleen Sgamma, alliance president. (Expert!!!)
"So it's just not something that the President can do.
This is not supposed to affect current leases,
but a company may have a project and as they do more exploratory work, they determine that we need to acquire some acreage nearby. If some of that acreage is federal, then their project would be stymied. They wouldn't be able to go forward with that project."

Now where is YOUR proof?

Even if all those thing transpired there is no guarantee that the adjacent lots would be up for lease. They def. should hold all the auctions they've missed due to the pause. Short of a new law by Congress that should be set in stone.

Well I did what you asked... provided proof that oil production planners have problems with the Biden moratorium on Federal leases.

Who are YOU to declare a "myth"????

Wow how pompous!

More importantly, HOW ignorant!

Why do you think the statement..“energy independence”—... made by experts who would be laughed at if it were not true...even more important lose credibility and money!

FACT which I provide!
YOU ZERO facts. I ask the reader with whom is there more credibility ?
U.S. energy production in 2019 was higher than U.S. energy consumption for the first time in 62 years.
Thus, the U.S. attained the long-held goal of “energy independence”—
DO YOU understand this?
Total energy production was greater than consumption in 2019!
