WOW! Just wow! Here is What Was Elected to the Senate From Massachusetts!

lol Like the former community organizer we hired a few years ago? Trainee for sure. Has he shown progress in the learning department?

I would have to say no.

You have to doff your hat to komrade Soetoro for one thing...the sumbitch definitely know how to steal an election. That's what kommunists from Chicago learn at an early age.

omg that was funny! :D:D:D:D hehheeeeeeeee I am laughing so hard here!!!!!

Considering what Republicans left him and where we are now, I would have to say you have other issues besides what you imagine he may or may not have "learned". You seem to have skated by learning only "talking points".

Unless you live in Massachusetts it is none of your business who they elect.

You have that right, but why does Massachusetts seem to elect nuts? Barney Franks leaves, Warren the know nothing steps in.

Those voters are real dumb asses.

That's funny. Minnesota has Michelle Bachmann and you think this brilliant woman in Massachusetts is a 'know-nothing?'

Lol. Are you wingers even slightly capable of disagreeing with someone yet still acknowledging their intellect?

Rhetorical question. Never mind.

The partisan hacks in this thread react to Warren's press conference with praise.

Elizabeth Warren is a great American patriot and will be a great Senator.

Wow yet another Obama whinefest...it's like the energiser bunny on the forums at the moment.

yet she creamed scott brown. Scoreboard

Warren appears to have her constituency at heart. She has championed consumer rights and her blog Credit Slips where she was one of it's founders exemplifies her perspective and commitment the consumer. After all is that not why we elect these people to represent us.

Here is a sample...Bullshit--Professionally Speaking - Credit Slips

She's smart. She'll learn.

Jeeebus dupes are dumb and hateful...LOL!

The Boston Herald, which ignored all questions about Brown's ability and integrity during the campaign, ends up with buyers remorse.

For the sake of Massachusetts, let’s hope that Elizabeth Warren gets better than this. She was always a mildly underwhelming candidate, clutching her talking points like they were a satchel of gold — millionaires and *billionaires, a level playing field, big oil. As deft as she was at slogans, she was never so good at answering questions, which was odd for a person of such experience and substance.
Her acceptance on Tuesday night continued that odd tradition — her stump speech warmed over with a midway nod *toward her vanquished opponent, Scott Brown. It was hard to fathom that she couldn’t offer a few meaningful words on what it means to capture the honor of *representing Massachusetts in the US *Senate.
...
It was Warren’s chance to rest her *elbows on the podium, tell the gathered crowd that she’s never felt this exhausted in her life, and then share a bit of her exhilaration over the prospect of standing up for the working class in the most important *deliberative body in the world, talking points aside.
...
Here’s what Elizabeth Warren needs to understand — immediately. Tens of thousands of good, honest, hard-working people sent her tens of millions of dollars to run what amounted to the most expensive and elaborate political campaign that this state has ever seen.
They didn’t just give their money, these supporters. They invested their hopes, their hearts, their dreams, and for many of them, their time. If she didn’t turn out to be the most scintillating candidate, that was OK, because she was far better than the other option, and they knew she would improve once she grabbed the prize.
And now that she’s won, what these people expect, what they want, is what is supposed to be Warren’s trademark: openness and honesty. They want someone who will treat the public with dignity and give honest voice to the issues that are on everyone’s mind, discretion be damned.
Yes, she is tired. Of course, it’s all new. Admittedly, this is about style.
But election night was lazy. Thursday was disrespectful. If Elizabeth Warren is better than this, and there is every hope and belief that she is, it’s time to start showing it now.

A woman of few words - Politics - The Boston Globe

Personally, I could have told them this is what would happen, but they wouldn't have listened.

the race was closer than it should have been - considering it was Brown she was running against.

Dems have gotten what they deserve. The only people who are going to prosper in from here on out are criminals.

She is a dipshit and will be exposed once in the Senate and she has to follow their rules on the floor with live TV catching her mistakes.

She's already been exposed. The people of Massachusetts don't care. They are terminally set on stupid.

Exactly.

It's what I've said all along. This is what they WANT. They celebrate depravity, stupidity, and the erosion of human rights. They are not going to elect people of honor or character because they have none themselves, and they see it as a threat.
