I opted for the Burris 3X instead of a red dot.....The stock sort of lends itself to a scope and I had it laying around.

Yeah, a 2-4x optic is a good compromise. Red dots cover too much of the target at 200-300yds.

Well it came with gray furniture (used build) so I sorta had to roll with it.
