Trump Going Forward Part 2. Day By Day

Trump issues executive order to start rolling back Obamacare - CNNPolitics.com

Washington (CNN)Within hours of taking the oath of office, President Donald Trump on Friday night signed an executive order aimed at trying to fulfill one of his most impassioned campaign promises: Rolling back Obamacare.

The multi-part executive order stated that the administration's official policy is "to seek the prompt repeal" of the Affordable Care Act -- but at the same time emphasized that it must continue to uphold the law.

With his signature, Trump sent a powerful signal on Day One of his presidency: His top priority in the Oval Office will be dismantling the health care law that covers some 20 million Americans

WASHINGTON ― With a new president comes a new presidential website. Gone are sections like “Civil Rights” and “Reducing Gun Violence” and in are pages like “America First Energy Plan” and “America First Foreign Policy.”

But people also quickly noticed that certain pages seemed to have disappeared altogether. Searches for LGBT turn up nothing and the section on climate change goes to a broken link.

Advocacy groups for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer equality quickly condemned the Trump administration for scrubbing mentions of their community.

Trump’s Divisive And Negative Inaugural Address Was Full Of Lies And Most Americans TRASHED It | Addicting Info | The Knowledge You Crave

Trump portrayed America as a weak, crime-ridden wasteland where everyone lives in poverty.
He also attacked President Obama by proclaiming that “January 20th, 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again, called our military “depleted,” and railed against America’s crumbling infrastructure.

Of course, Trump left out the fact that Republicans blocked infrastructure spending for eight years. He also failed to point out that Republicans have been attacking education for years.

"We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the mysteries of space, to free the earth from the miseries of disease, and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of tomorrow.”

Trump failed to mention that he wants to cut NASA’s budget too, supports the anti-vaccination movement, intends to double down on coal and oil to the detriment of clean energy, and is eliminating a government agency dedicated to researching and developing new technologies to reduce carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.
Also, our military is the most funded military in the world, so claiming that it is depleted is a lie and an insult to our troops.

It should be pointed out that Trump contributed to the shuttering of factories in this country by buying raw materials, like metals, from China to build his hotels with instead of buying it from American companies.

All changes for the better. Normal Americans are tired of hearing about the LGBT community and their so-called rights. Leftwing douche bags believe beating up Trump supporters is a "civil right," and "reducing gun violence" means gun control.

Trump Taps Anti-Gay, Anti-Catholic, Anti-Mormon Pastor Robert Jeffress For Prayer Service | Right Wing Watch

According to a CNN report today, Southern Baptist pastor Robert Jeffress “is scheduled to preach at a private service for President-elect Trump and his family on Friday, shortly before Trump takes the oath of office.”

Trump campaigned alongside Jeffress and appointed the Texas-based televangelist to his Evangelical Executive Advisory Board. Jeffress, in turn, hailed Trump as a “strongman” who rightfully rejects Jesus Christ’s teachings from the Sermon on the Mount.

Here's an example of the sleazy lies you tell. He didn't say he "rejects Jesus Christ's teachings from the Sermon on the Mount." He said he "rejects Jesus Christ's teachings from the Sermon on the Mount as a governing principle."

You deliberately left that part out because you're just another lying leftwing douche bag. Nothing leftists say can ever be believed. Nothing.

Your source is just another commie propaganda organ. You should stay away from those if you don't want to come off as some paranoid wacko.

Tom Price's views on religious freedom make him the wrong choice to run the Department of Health and Human Services The Price Is Wrong: HHS Secretary Nominee’s Views On Religious Freedom Are Dangerous | Americans United

We’re particularly looking for answers about Price’s record on religious freedom. As enshrined in the Constitution, religious freedom guarantees we are free to believe as we see fit and to practice our faith – but it doesn’t allow us to ignore laws that protect others or to take away their rights even if we’re motivated by religious beliefs. Price, however, has pushed to allow religion to be used as an excuse to discriminate and deny health care. His record not only reflects a basic misunderstanding of religious freedom, but also a flagrant disregard for HHS’s mission to “enhance and protect the health and well-being of all Americans.”

His eagerness to sacrifice healthcare for false claims of religious freedom isn’t limited to contraception, however. Price also cosponsored the so-called Health Care Conscience Rights Act. This extreme measure would allow any employer or insurance company to ignore the law and deny health insurance coverage for any health care service they have a religious objection to.

His record on LGBTQ issues is equally bad. Price co-sponsored the deceptively named First Amendment Defense Act. This discriminatory bill would essentially allow individuals, government employees, businesses and taxpayer-funded social service providers to cite religion as an excuse to ignore all laws that recognize and protect same-sex couples. He also joined a friend-of-the-court brief to the Supreme Court in the Gavin Grimm case that suggests that religion could be used to deny transgender students access to the bathroom.

Donald Trump Violates The Constitution On Day One

Trump’s refusal to sell his stake in his business is causing a constitutional crisis

It has only been a few minutes since Donald Trump raised his right hand and swore to uphold the Constitution, but he has already violated his oath of office. By failing to sell his business and separate himself from innumerable foreign conflicts of interest, Trump is breaking the Constitution’s Emoluments Clause which bars payments from foreign leaders to government officials.

“Donald Trump started Day One of his presidency with a giant target on his back for foreign leaders looking to bribe their way into the Oval Office or dictate national security decisions,” said American Bridge President Jessica Mackler. “But he does not seem to care that this is against the law because it can mean billions for his bottom line.”

The Constitution’s Emoluments Clause is not an outdated relic from another era. […]

ROFL! So your view of religious freedom is that the government can force people to act in opposition to their religious beliefs.

Thanks for telling us, but we already knew that. That attitude is another reason Trump was elected. If you want an abortion or birth control then buy it yourself or work somewhere they are willing to provide it. You don't have the right to force anyone to provide it to you.

And no one is trying to deny trannies the right to use the bathroom. However, people who have dicks have no right to use a bathroom designed for people who don't have one. The claim that they do couldn't be more idiotic.

They are called conflict of interest laws, and yes, they do exist, no matter how much you wish they didn't. The second Trump tells a foreign diplomat to stay at his hotel and they do, then he is in conflict because as president, if he still owns his DC hotel, he is benefiting from a foreign government.

Quote one that says the President can't own a business.

IF you think Trump is concerned over a few thousand he might earn from foreign diplomats, you are an utter fool. Trump lost hundreds of millions by running for President. His revenue from the apprentice show alone is many millions of dollars, and also the miss universe contest.

Leftwing douche bags are so stupid.

It's not the amount, it's the fact that he would be profiting from a foreign government, which is outlawed by the Constitution. I thought you right wingers were all about the president following it.

I didn't say he couldn't own a business, but the Constitution says he cannot profit from a foreign government. If he keeps ownership of his hotel, then any time a foreign diplomat is recommended to stay there and they do, it could be seen as trying to curry favor with Trump by using one of his hotels.

When foreign diplomats stay in his hotel, then start whining. However, there is no law that forces foreigners to avoid certain hotels, so I don't know how you can enforce such a law.

Constitutional Scholars To Sue Donald Trump Over D.C. Hotel And Other Businesses | The Huffington Post

A group including former White House ethics attorneys will file a lawsuit on Monday accusing President Donald Trump of allowing his businesses to accept payments from foreign governments, in violation of the U.S. Constitution.

Deepak Gupta, a Supreme Court litigator working on the case, said the lawsuit would allege that the Constitution’s emoluments clause forbids payments to Trump’s businesses. It will seek a court order forbidding Trump from accepting such payments, he said.

Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal withdrawal Trump's first executive order, sources say - CNNPolitics.com

President Donald Trump on Monday will unravel the behemoth trade deal he inherited from his predecessor, as two sources familiar with the matter told CNN he plans to sign an executive order to withdraw from the negotiating process of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
That executive order will send signals to Democrats and leaders in foreign capitals around the world that Trump's rhetoric on trade during the campaign is turning into action. Trump vowed during the campaign to withdraw the US from the Pacific trade deal, commonly known as TPP, which he argued was harmful to American workers and manufacturing.

He won't be accepting payments. Those are just some confused libs trying to find a reason to get out of bed in the mornings.
