The Nunes referral to counterintelligence is on track. CIA counterintelligence Angleton (allegedly a Russian mole) died in May 1987, the same year Christopher Steele began with MI6.

Christopher Steele worked with Tim Barrow (now Theresa May's EU Ambassador) in the British Embassy across the Moscow River from the Kremlin. Steele's wife Laura was the daughter of David Hunt. Hunt met the Queen after designing a high-power laser at Britain's Atomic Weapon Establishment. Steele graduated in 1987 from Cambridge University where he was described as a 'confirmed socialist.'

The domus as defined here is the concept and practice of nurturing and caring, but at a still more general level it obtains its dramatic force from the exclusion, control and domination of the wild, the outside (which I shall later describe as the 'agrios'). Tentatively the 'agrios' has the potential to be defined as the origins of the deep state. Further evidence of the concept:

'The very idea of the domus involves incorporating the agrios in order to control and domesticate. It is thus not surprising that aspects of the agrios are increasingly evident in the archaeological record. But initially, in the linear house, the emphasis has been on separating off and excluding the wild. The increasing use of the metaphor of domestication in social life created a potential for manipulating the agrios at the expense of the domus. The dispersal of settlement and the emphasis on hunting and warring are therefore not passive results of the use of the domus for maintaining authority structures. Rather they can be seen as active forces -- creating new strategies of power, based on the agrios, in relation to the tombs and enclosures.

The latter monuments themselves play actively on the relationship between domus and agrios. In contrast to the Danubian house, the linear tomb does more than emphasize monumentality, inclusion and exclusion. It also incorporates aspects of the agrios. In doing so it can be used to begin a break with traditional structures of power, allowing wider or closer dependencies and larger scales of domination. The same can be said of the enclosures. Later, however, the increased conceptual dependence of the domus on the agrios allowed individual groups further to transform the domus ion order to define new dimensions of power.'
