In Spokane Wa. they found that traffic violations went up, not down in intersections
with the traffic cams.

This is all about cheap revenue for the cities

Agree....and disagree. I used to feel the way you do but......

The number of people who feel entitled to ignore red lights or are on drugs and zoned out is off the charts and increasing.

Maybe after YOU get T-boned or lose someone you care about to one of these people you'll see it differently.

Instead of fines, suspend their right to drive for a month for each infraction. Then nail em to the cross and bankrupt em with fines if they get caught driving under a suspended license.

There is a certain percent of the population that feel no reason to follow the traffic laws. They will speed and get fines. They run traffic signals and get suspended. They speed some more and they get impounded. They borrow a buddy's car and repeat the cycle. They don't pay the fines and get arrested and charges dismissed by a judge.

I know people who are in their 40's and have never had a valid license. They have essentially been suspended since their Learner's Permit. They live in a constant state of not giving a frak about your laws.
