Sharp Jump in US Gasoline Prices Seen Within Days

Increased mandate for ETHANOL kicks in.. Price of ethanol at the pump STILL higher than gasoline even after all the subsidies and mountains of breaks.. That's gotta be part of this..

Also many states saw significant rise in gas tax.. If the "average" is calculated by consumption and not just divided among 50 states --- this could add a few pennies to the "average"..

Except that the 2 things I mentioned ACTUALLY happened. So technically, you only whine about stuff you IMAGINE happened...

Congress pushing gas refiners to push ethanol blends BEYOND what their stations and the automobiles can handle.. STILL REQUIRED TO BUY the ethanol --- even if no one USES it..

That would be a govt FUBAR wouldn't it??? How do "liberals" feel about that???
