Remember the CEO who raised salaries to $70k?

You're not worried about her record of lying, dissembling, and taking bribes?

Not worried at all about the attack culture of the right wing hate groups. More worried about Hillary trying to be folksy.

Deny deny deny deny. They should change the mascot of the Democratic party from the donkey to the lemming.

"Over the cliff!!!"

Deny that.

Aaaand right onto dodging, typical lefty playbook.

Can't dodge that...can you?
$20Trillion.
91Milion.
Try dodging them apples.

His best employees quit and his clients bolted, shocker. /sarcasm

... then the CEO hired a dozen more employees and signed up 150 more new monthly clients than usual in his GROWING business.
What don't you understand about good business?
Oh yeah, you're just sarcastic,
:)

Not sure about what you're referring to, but I'm sure it's an attack on Hillary. You've guys had 25 years to take the "bothersome woman" off the pedestal and you haven't laid a glove on her yet. When you guys going to man up and stop letting a little woman own you? What kind of men are you?

Anyway, I'm not sure what you're referring to but I'm sure Fox News and the right wing hate machine has a lot to do with it.

I'm sure that 332 is greater than 206 though.

What part of the CEO had to rent out his house because he's fallen on hard times financially don't you understand? His brother a 30% owner in the company is also suing his ass. OH SNAP!

Gee, the GOP controlled Congress and congresses through out history should have been more responsible. Oh wait, they have held Congress for dozens of years and the Oval for even longer but have no responsibility whatsoever...right?

Actually Hillary is a shining example that graft, deceitfulness, and overall pandering and money grabbing is something that crosses the sex line.

It's a true moment for equality.

What part of the CEO having planned for rough times in order to make his pro-employee policy work do you not understand?
When he planned to reduce his own annual salary from $1,000,000 to $70,000, he expected hard times on his lifestyle, but he is young & single & modest and determined to make his ideas work.
If his experiment gets too tough, he can adjust (salaries, etc).

On the other hand, if the man can't manage his life on $70k a year, it would seem he already is a failure at planning.

Hell coming out of the Clinton Recession in 2002 Bush was constantly assailed for the "McJobs Economy" because the first jobs to be created are typically lower wage ones. The exact same phenomenon happens in every recovery. But when it happened again under Obama no one said a word.
Media is in the tank for the Democrats. There is no doubt at all.

Clearly the man wasn't thinking wisely, so now he's paying the financial consequences. Is there any word on if he's going to continue using that failed system?

We already have an active thread about this. Your side lost.

Right.

Because it's just a game to you.

Oh? What is "it" to you in the politics section....where this clearly doesn't belong.

You seem to think politics is just a game where one side wins and one side loses. Reading through the OP, it just struck me how childish that is.

Well, liberals almost always win on social issuesso it isn't much in the way of competition. As soon as you folks on the right get serious about the contest and start treating the subjects and the competition with sober respect, I will be happy to engage. I fear those days of learned adversaries on USMB are over.

Case in point, HRC has experience in the Senate, as FLOTUS, and as SoS. These are facts. I would imagine that in the next 2 days, one of you blowhards will be reciting the "she's not qualified" billabong while insisting others with fewer credentials are.

Again, I hope for a serious back and fourth. But the heavyweights on the conservative side are either gone or hiding in their create-a-forum where you can't question one another.
How on earth do you make the great leap from what the owner of private company decides to pay his employees to Hillary Clinton's bid for POTUS?
Face it feminazi...You are a fan. A sycophant. A true believer.
Your views don't count for much. Yours are those of an irrational narrow minded extreme partisan left winger.
And since you opened the door......No A person by virtue of matrimony does not become qualified to run the USA....Not by a longshot.
Clinton carpetbagged her way into the US Senate. Elizabeth Dole did the same thing and your side vilified her for doing so.. But for Clinton? It was "just fine".
She was at best a failure at Sec'y of State. A position given to her by Obama in order to keep her quiet and off his back. Her appointment to that post was a classic case of "keep your friends close. Keep your enemies closer".....It is well documented there is vitriolic albeit controlled hatred between the Obama's and the Clinton's.
Other than sycophantic affection, I can see no reason why you would by in such lockstep support of her.
Of are you one of these members of the emoting liberal uninformed who claim "it is her turn"?....

Can't you just feel the conservatard love towards workers who, by the way, represent the vast majority of the population and are hopefully not stupid enough to vote against their own best interests.
Oh ye out in left field....Nice non sequitur
Yeah, you lefties want everyone to be paid more money. Notice I did not use the term "earn".....Higher wages so you can then turn around and tax the shit out of them...Nice plan....Playing both sides against the middle.
Liberalism is pure evil

What were those MSNBC and CNN #'s again??

Yeah well that didnt work out quite like he wanted. Turns out you can't pay everyone the same because not everyone performs the same. Oops. Not like we didnt tell you. Now he has to rent out his house to make ends meet. Socialism fails 100% of the time. more at the source.
Remember the Seattle CEO Who Raised All Salaries to 70K Here s What Happened Next...

When Dan Price, founder and CEO of the Seattle-based credit-card-payment processing firm Gravity Payments, announced he was raising the company’s minimum salary to $70,000 a year, he was met with overwhelming enthusiasm.

“Everyone start[ed] screaming and cheering and just going crazy,” Price told Business Insider shortly after he broke the news in April.

But in the weeks since then, it’s become clear that not everyone is equally pleased. Among the critics? Some of Price’s own employees.

Maisey McMaster — once a big supporter of the plan — is one of the employees that quit. McMaster, 26, joined the company five years ago, eventually working her way up to financial manager. She put in long hours that “left little time for her husband and extended family,” The Times says, but she loved the “special culture” of the place.

But while she was initially on board, helping to calculate whether the company could afford to raise salaries so drastically (the plan is a minimum of $70,000 over the course of three years), McMaster later began to have doubts.

“He gave raises to people who have the least skills and are the least equipped to do the job, and the ones who were taking on the most didn’t get much of a bump,” she told The Times. A fairer plan, she told the paper, would give newer employees smaller increases, along with the chance to earn a more substantial raise with more experience.

Huh? Did you read both?
Except for the last 2 sentences in the CNBC piece & imbedded video, both stories are the same, by the same author Patricia Cohen.
The CNBC print even cites NY Times!
