Palestine Papers 'Isreal Demands Palestinian Genocide or nothing'

Dead Babies are a War Strategy for Hamas

cmimg_2225.jpg

The Hamas "dead baby" strategy - to cause as many civilian casualties as possible by firing its deadly rockets from schools and densely populated areas - is producing understandable outrage around the world. What is not understandable is why the outrage is directed against Israel, which is a victim of this strategy, rather than against Hamas, which is its perpetrator.

Hamas knew exactly what it was doing when it fired more than 6,000 rockets at Israeli kindergartens, elementary schools and playgrounds from behind its own children. It was playing Russian roulette with the lives of Israeli children in order to provoke a defensive response from Israel.

The Hamas strategy may now be spreading to Lebanon where twice in several days, rockets have targeted Israeli civilian areas. Hezbollah, which denies responsibility for these rockets, actually originated this strategy in the summer of 2006, when it provoked Israel into trying to defend its citizens and its kidnapped soldiers. Other nations in the world are susceptible to similar strategies, as the United States learned, when it went after the Taliban and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and discovered that they too use civilians as human shields.

Unless this "dead baby" strategy is exposed and rejected in the marketplace of morality, it's coming to a theater (or school or hospital) near you.

Historically speaking, there was never a time when Hamas nor Palestinians “ruled the entire world”, yet this is what Hamas teaches to its followers as well as up and coming terrorists, the unwitting children of Palestine.

Palestine has been the world’s most famous international “victim” for ages. Literally billions of American “aid” has been poured into Palestinians coffers. The estimated wealth of former terrorist, leader of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat at the time of his death: 1.3 billion.

It sure is and counters your silly nonsense in a fine little quid pro quo.

It may do so in your view, but it ultimately adds nothing to the discussion. If you take issue with something I write, I'd appreciate it if you'd say so instead of responding with insults or something similarly non-constructive. I apologize if I've been guilty of the same thing. I'm interested in dialogue and not diatribe -- I'm willing to discuss the issue without either of us resorting to insult, propaganda, or generalization if you are.

Drybones has a witty take on the folly of Western thinking about the civil war in Gaza. Like Pavlovian dogs the “peace-makers” salivate at the slightest possibility that Fatah might consider behaving moderately (i.e., be willing to make the necessary compromises to accept a two state solution), even if their motivation is nothing more than temporary desperation. We think like primitive computers: if Hamas is crazy, then Fatah must be sane, if Hamas terrorist, Fatah moderate. And so, wildly projecting our liberal cognitive egocentrism on the least unlikely candidate, we continue to pursue the Oslo logic that will be our doom.

I'm not here for your edification Kalam. Continue with your whine. Cheese is forthcoming.

Sorry. :)

How many more examples of bigotry and religious intolerance...

You think this criticism might be a bit hypocritical?

Not at all. Hypocrisy demands greater hypocrisy.

Yes, we know what Hamas thinks about Israel AND Jews. Hamas is not Christian or Jewish. :)

YouTube - Hamas In Their Own Words

Hamas in their own words. Keep in mind that THIS is what Palestinians freely elected. And then expected to live in peace with Israel?

People must be aware that this thing has nothing whatsoever to do with land. Ask yourself what sane people would fight 5 regional wars and continue this madness for over 60 years about a tiny scrap of land that amounts to a fraction of 1% of the Arabian world.

This is about nothing more than Jew hatred and the Arabian dream of genocide on the Jews and it will never stop until the international community dumps the politically correct humoring of these psychopaths and deals with them accordingly.

Brute force is all these primitive barbarians understand and the quicker the west understands and accepts that the quicker it will be dealt with once and for all.

Bears repeating.

No whining or requests for edification here; just an appeal for actual discussion.

Hamas, Gaza’s Islamist rulers, said the three men killed were members of its group, but officials declined comment on the allegations made against them by the Israeli military.

An Israeli air strike in the same area of Gaza on Wednesday killed a Palestinian gunman on a motorcycle.

In a rise in violence last month, Israel carried out a series of air strikes and Palestinian militants fired rocket salvoes into the Jewish state.

Hamas has offered a truce but exchanges of fire between Israel and other militant groups have persisted.

IDF hits Gaza terror cell; 3 killed

Israeli aircraft killed three Palestinian gunmen in the southern Gaza Strip early on Saturday, medical officials and the Israeli army said.

Residents said the planes fired on a car in which the three men were travelling in the town of Khan Younis.

An Israeli military spokesman said the air strike was aimed at “a terrorist squad planning to kidnap Israelis over the upcoming Jewish holiday of Passover“.

“At a ceremony in Oslo, Norway on December 10, 1994 Yasser Arafat, master terrorist, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. The prize was awarded jointly to Arafat, Israel’s Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Foreign Minister Shimon Peres “for their efforts to create peace in the Middle East.” The three were granted the prestigious prize, prematurely as it turned out, for their roles in the historic Oslo Accords signed the previous year and their committment to the Peace Process envisioned by the Accords. After generations of warfare and terrorism, it seemed peace was at hand.

The decision to award Arafat the coveted Nobel Prize was based on the belief that he had renounced acts of terror and had become a sincere participant in a true peace process. The Oslo Accords and successor agreements in the Peace Process bound Arafat and his people to recognize Israel’s right to exist, to guarantee Israel’s safety and security within defensible borders, and to work by a peaceful series of negotiations toward resolution of remaining problems. Nonetheless, Nobel committee member Kaare Kristiansen quit rather than be party to a prize that included Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.

But this was all a fiction. Even in 1993 and 1994, with the ink fresh on the peace agreement papers, there was a high rate of terrorism against Israel; seventy-three Israeli soldiers and civilians were killed and more than 100 wounded in 1994, up slightly from 1993. In a preview of the pattern that still persists today, Israeli officials urged the Palestinian Authority to take tougher measures against terrorists and the PA claimed to be doing so even while the terrorism went on and on.

IDF kills 4 Gaza terrorists 'behind Beersheba attack'

Shortly after IDF fire in Strip kills four Palestinians - including two youths - aerial strike targets Islamic Jihad cell Israel says was behind recent Grad attack on Israeli city. Al-Quds Brigades says Israel should expect 'different type of response.' Army: Escalation to continue

ERS0JER39_ISRAEL-GA553757_wa.jpg

An Israeli air strike killed four Palestinians terrorists in Gaza Tuesday evening, Hamas figures said after four Palestinians, including two youths, were killed in a separate Israeli shelling of the territory.

According to the Ma'an news agency, an attack on Gaza City's Zeitun neighborhood killed three gunmen belonging to Islamic Jihad's armed wing – the al-Quds Brigades.

The IDF confirmed that its aircraft targeted terrorists who were on their way to launch rockets at Israel. The army said forces identified a hit on the vehicle the terrorists were travelling in. The army said the same terror cell was behind the launching of a Grad rocket towards Beersheba some two weeks ago.

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said the attack "demands immediate international intervention to force Israel to stop the violence and dangerous escalation against our people in the Gaza Strip."

International forces should also "provide protection to unarmed civilians whom Israel is targeting through raids, shelling or the continuous unfair blockade on the Gaza Strip," he said.

IDF officials estimated that the surge of confrontations with terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip will continue over the next few weeks. They noted, however, that Hamas has no interest in significant, long-term escalation of the situation.

Shortly before the IDF shelling in Gaza, four mortars were fired from the Hamas-ruled territory toward the northern Negev region. The shells exploded in open areas within the limits of the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council. There were no reports of injury or damage.

Later Tuesday, a Qassam rocket fired from Gaza towards Ashkelon landed in an open area outside the Israeli city. There were no reports of injury or damage.

At around 6 pm another mortar shell that was fired from the Gaza Strip exploded in an open area near a kibbutz in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. No injuries were reported.

The IDF Southern Command instructed Gaza vicinity residents to stay on high alert, fearing that more rockets will be fired towards the region overnight.
