i have read that we can't deport all illegals because....the expense of removing them all is too costly...?
I'm pro amnesty for a few reasons and that is one of them - note , I'm pro closing the borders and shooting people who attempt to cross illegally before amnesty
Also note, that it isn't actually amnesty, b/c they will pay a fine. it's no different than paying a fine for speeding. you're not given amnesty for speeding, you're paying a civil fine.
Here's why Care
1. The cost of rounding these folks up - we'd have to way increase the number of ICE agents to be able to handle it.
2. The cost of housing these folks until we determine their status and deport them
3. The cost of and the clogging of our already over crowded legal system to give these people their day in court to determine if they are in fact illegals and if so if they are entitled to amnesty under current law.
4. The actual cost of transporting them to Mexico
Unless you are suggesting we just round them up throw em on a bus and deport their ass sans legal protections. In which case it wouldn't be that expensive at all.
