Obama just cancelled Christmas this week. We have been notified that the word "Christmas" is banned on all Federal property.

Obama's Next Executive Order To Ban The Word "Christmas" From Federal Property

If President Barack Hussein Obama has it his way, the war on Christmas might soon be taking a very dark turn. On Monday, a former White House staffer claimed in an interview with National Report that Obama is planning to sign an executive order sometime this month that would ban the use of the word “Christmas,” as well as all Christmas-related decorations, gift exchanges, and other references to the holiday, from all Federal property in the United States.

Former White House Communications Department employee Paul Horner, who claims he resigned from his post on Friday, November 28th after learning of the President’s plot, says Obama briefed the White House staff on the upcoming executive order last week. He says Obama plans to sign the order on Tuesday, December 16th.

“As President Obama described it, the order would ban the use of the word `Christmas’ from all Federal property in the country,” Horner alleges. “This would mean Federal employees couldn’t use the word out-loud. It also means they couldn’t hold office parties, or decorate their offices or buildings, or do `Secret Santa,’ or anything like that.”

Horner claims that Obama is allegedly trying to avoid upsetting people of other faiths. “He said he `felt bad’ for people who were Muslims, Jews, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and others who don’t believe in Christmas,” Horner claims, “and he didn’t want Christians `guilt-tripping’ others into participating in a Holiday they didn’t personally believe in.”

Dumb fucking retard. That's a satire site. But feel free to continue shitting your pants.

Where do you guys get this horseshit from and why would it matter? The Federal Government doesn't have a religion, by law.
You can't totally ban a religion.

The purpose of the bill of rights is to prevent such actions
Even if he did ban the word Christmas, that isn't banning religion, and on Federal and State property THERE IS NO RELIGION. That's for people, not their government.

While I would not be surprised if the meat muppet faggot did so, I don't believe he would do it, at least not with an election approaching next year. I'm sure the possibility he could be replaced with a guy like Ted Cruz who will erase everything this parasite has inflicted upon us, gives him some pause from doing something that insane.

The way idiot RWNJs, like mudwhistle spread these truly idiotic lies, its not wonder they hate President Obama.

Even though he knows its a lie, I have no doubt he still believes it and will now send it to all the other brain dead idiots in his email address book.

And then there's Pete7469 who believes Obama is running for president.

Jeez, people.

How the hell did you get to be THIS dumb?

Purhaps he feels he can get away with it unofficially, but it's already in effect this morning.

They finally got rid of the chaplains giving the opening prayer daily in the House and Senate?

No religion is being banned, and there is no religion of State or Federal property. It's neutral, by law.

Well - sort of. It's supposed to be "One Nation Under God," however, with the state of the nation under Obama's (ahem) leadership, it seems to be morphing to "One Nation Under God, Allah, and whatever other religious terrorist group intimidates us."

It wasn't "One nation under God" when the fucking pledge was written, by a minister no less. That's you Jesus-freaks inserting God whenever you can, wanting a theocracy instead of the liberal secular nation that was founded.

It is a fictional site.
Yeah....sure....uh-huh. :cuckoo:
National Report is a website which posts fictional articles related to world events.[2][3] It is described by Snopes.com as a fake news site,[4] by FactCheck.org as a satirical site[5] and by Caitlin Dewey of the Washington Post as part of a fake-news industry, making profits from "duping gullible internet users with newsy headlines." The National Report describes itself as a "news and political satire web publication" and provides a disclaimer that "all news articles contained within National Report are fiction".

Dare one consult the U.S. Constitution? "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." Celebrating Christmas in government offices is so far removed from what is prohibited that it is a joke.

"Christmas" in American society has evolved into a holiday that has almost nothing to do with celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. One could argue that, aside from the name, the celebrations, customs, and rituals have very little to do with the religious celebration that falls on the same date.

Christmas tree? Forget about it. No connection.

Gift-giving? I don't think so. The gift giving in the Bible took place well after Christ's birth, so that's a modern invention (gift-giving at Christmas). In fact, in many Christian cultures the gift giving is on January 6th, the date when we remember the visit of the three Magi.

Santa Claus? Sort of a religious name, but the Santa Claus back-story has nothing to do with the birth of Christ or with Christianity.

"Merry Christmas"? Have a happy day when celebrating the holiday? Nothing religious about that.

If the President had balls (and if he were not a Muslim) he would simply send out a communication recognizing that our American society has created a separate secular holiday that we call Christmas, easily distinguishable from the religious celebration of the Nativity (which falls on the same day), and "we" are going to celebrate the Christmas HOLIDAY (as opposed to the Holy Day) with vigor and joy.

It would actually be a Teaching Moment for parents raising kids as Christians, emphasizing that BOTH celebrations need to be respected.
