Depends on what he asked them to do, though, OldStyle. This personal favor using approved military aid, subverting long standing bipartisan policy supporting Ukraine is not something a president should be doing with tax payer money. I don't think.

Kindly explain why when the Ukrainian President DIDN'T follow through on the "personal favor"...the military aid was granted to the Ukraine anyways? Quite obviously it WASN'T contingent on the "personal favor" being done!

I already answered that. The payment came two days after the President learned of the whistleblower complaint. I find that beyond coincidental.

If he were actually changing foreign policy, he would have done it through the diplomatic channels of the State Department, not sneaking around with his private lawyer trying to cut illegal deals.
