Millennials

The jerk-off millennials cannot balance a check book. They cannot read and write without emojis and Internet acronyms. They cannot do simple equations with a calculator. They do not understand capitalism. They do not understand the difference between democracy and a representative republic. They do not know our nation's history, nor do they care to know it.

Son, millennials are NOWHERE near ready to be trusted with the keys to the nation. You need to sit in the back seat longer, shut your mouths, and learn something.

I already know what you think. All I need to do is turn on the TV or log onto the FB or any social network to find out. Few of you have minds of your own.

Government schooling never taught you how to think critically.

Nobody gives a shit what a millennial thinks because (a) they do not think, and (b) they are impotent, spoiled little brats.

I don't know that it's fair to paint all “millennials” with that brush, but it certainly seems to fit JakeWIlls92, doesn't it?

And now, there are forces trying to create a generation that doesn't even know the difference between boys and girls, between men and women; and those forces seem to be having some measure of success. A benefit of being as old as I am is that I can hope that I will not be around to see the seriously f•••ed-up results of this premise, if it is allowed to take root.

Absolutely. There are a lot of good kids out there. Then there are those who fit the stereotypical mold. The op fits the mold, but he also may just be a nut.

Believe me, it seriously makes me want to be the one going to mars to escape the cluster fuck. Social liberalism is evil....

Young Conservatives, the Culture, and the Future of the Movement from DHFC on Vimeo.

Mark Tapson: The topic this morning is young conservatives, the culture and the future of the movement, and we have a panel of speakers today who will enlighten you about that. Each one will have a little bit of time to offer his remarks, and we're going to try to leave a lot of time for audience questions.

Youth and the culture. I just want to take a moment to emphasize how vital these are to the future of conservatism. Young people are the future and Katie Pavlich happened to mention that the millennial generation is the largest one that America has ever produced.

So, conservatives would do well to keep that in mind, and to engage that generation and try to win them over to conservatism because it's a generation that is increasingly embracing Bernie Sanders and socialism -- and socialism is a concept that the same generation can't really define, but it sounds fair and fair must be good right?

They increasingly embrace identity politics without realizing just how divisive that really is. They embrace free speech unless it offends someone. Heaven forbid that we should micro-aggress anyone these days.

So conservatives need to engage with this generation and win them over. We need to seduce them to conservatism. Actually, that was probably a micro-aggression right there, the word seduce. I'm sorry. Please go the nearest safe space and recover yourselves.

As for the culture, everything begins with the culture. As the late great Andrew Breitbart was fond of saying, politics flows downstream from culture. The reason that Obama won twice in the political area is because for decades the left has been laying the groundwork for that in the cultural arena -- and if we don't begin to turn that cultural ocean liner around -- and recapture the culture we will not win anymore in the political area.

Greg Thornbury: It is a great privilege and honor to be here at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. David Horowitz is a hero. I'm coming from the perspective of someone who is leading a campus of conservative young intellectuals on Wall Street in New York City -- we are dancing in the dragon's jaws, flying under the belly of the beast in the bluest of blues cities -- and people like David Horowitz are heroes to us who have been leading the way.

I do, Jake. I have to admit that I am not a Millennial--but I'd rather hear from my country's future than the anonymous carping of either some Boomer whose lot set the historical benchmark for uselessness and vanity, or another ineffective Gen X'er like me.

I don't know what sort populates this board, but I'm certain an "iron head" is no host for a human brain. F these little naysayers, honestly--Soviet schoolteachers in the 1980s said the same crappy things about their students (those young people who finally decided that tradition couldn't justify their fascist state).

Here: In Praise of Millennial Ingenuity - Milk Lump ...never mind these iron-hearted trolls. Just as it's wrong (and ultimately stupid) to describe an entire generation of young people as "jerk-offs," please, please don't go thinking that all of us older folks are some snotty, cantankerous, set in their ways blaylocks.
