German chancellor pushes for an 'urgent' return to negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians after meeting with Palestinian President Abbas, who said peace process will continue despite Palestinian reconciliation.

Quick, name three countries who claim to have the right to exist.

    One word: Secularism
^Till the religious radicals lose power on both sides nothing will happen.

Any declaration of a "Palestinian" state will be meet by an annexation of all areas Israel deems necessary for its security.

Its "history and heritage" means annexation of all the territories which isn't going to happen because the Arabs can't be expelled, and to be a Jewish state there has to be more Jews than muslims

I do not agree with the statement of Merkel about one of the three criteria that is rejection of violence by Israeil . Why Palestinian reject the violence which is against the human rights . There is a possibility that other two criteria will be acceptable for Palestinian but rejection of violence will not be acceptable . Negotiation is the only possible if Israeil will act upon what they say in their negotiations .
