That's pretty tacky.

He said some of the written comments attributed to KP students, whom he named aloud at the assembly, were directed at his daughter.

The lawmaker held captive to his outrage many KP students who were innocent of the name-calling and foul language, and did so in a manner unbecoming to his roles as caring parent and respected lawmaker. Who among us would not be prepared to do battle against anyone disparaging and dishonoring our loved ones?

State Senator Scott Brown, a rising star in the state's depleted Republican ranks, yesterday defended his use of profanity during a student assembly at King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, saying he simply repeated hateful statements that had been posted online about him and his family.... Brown, the father of "American Idol" finalist Ayla Brown, read the postings Thursday -- and, in some cases, identified the students he believed had written them -- during a meeting with about 80 sophomores who had invited him to discuss his opposition to same-sex marriage....
Brown told Statehouse News Service that he used the "F-word" twice.... Students who heard Brown speak said he read the profane statements "loudly and pretty angrily."

What an idiot. He believed? I guess he doesn't believe in innocent until proven guilty...and against tenth graders???

This is a great story about how State Senator Scott Brown, (on right in Cosmo) out of Wrentham and leading candidate for the Massachusetts Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in 2008, had a "meltdown" in front of 80 King Philip's High School students at a student assembly. Brown had asked to speak to the students because he felt he had been "abused" by student detractors from King's Philip High School who made fun of him on their student run internet chatroom, "facebook."

If this man thinks he should be entitled to the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate just because there are only a few GOP contenders out there, then how can a man with such thin skin be able to defeat John Kerry whose skin is thin and cold-blooded already. What make's Brown think he can represent Massachusetts as United States Senator when it's obvious he can't even handle a few teenagers teasing him.
