That is what this lawmaker is essentially trying to do - ignore history because it is not what they think it should be. Asinine.

You have no problem demanding the rest of us be forced to give someone else money. It's not the same as doing it yourself with your own money. If all you bleeding hearts that said you have no problem helping actually helped instead of thinking helping means supporting someone else being forced to pay, the rest of us wouldn't be forced to pay.
