It seems to me that it is absolutely proper to hear both sides of the case for impeachment, which the House did not do. And then allow questions to be asked and answered for a period of time. After that, it is entirely proper for the Senate to vote on whether they've heard enough. More Witnesses, yes or no. If so, who? If not, vote for acquittal. Nothing wrong with that IMHO.

Democrats may turn the country over to Republicans for decades due to default. The schism in the Democrat Party is huge.
