Why...because he wants to really really kick your asses and that takes money to clear up the bullshit your side will be throwing out.
Defending against..

Good luck to your side in 2012...he is going to beat you silly. I guarantee you he will win in 2012! Eat that.

Scott Rasmussen is a conservative Republican and his polling methods have always been questioned. So no, that poll is NOT seen as the most accurate. Not by a long shot.

Here's the thing about it though - I don't think Rasmussen polls are biased. Polling companies don't make money if people (and more importantly, media and campaigns) don't trust their polls. His polling methods have been legitimately questioned - I don't like his polls at all - but I don't think it's because of bias.

And the "Rasmussen is the most accurate" meme is bullshit too. They're no better than any other major polling company, and less accurate than some aggregators, like RCP and fivethirtyeight.com (which absolutely was the most accurate in 2008).

Apparently Rasmussen is suspect because of the way they form questions--a definite lean that requires the answer to either be pro-Republican or anti-Democrat. As for simple tracking, like Gallup, they're fine.

I'll bet rasmussen had obama with a loss after killing bin laden. :)

If the GOP and the Tea Party are so righteous, why do they need unlimited and anonymous donations?

How about limiting both sides to 10 million dollars and let them get elected on their own merits. No one would win then I guess. At least not a politician.

How about all the credible pollsters all take polls with a simple question: Do you think Osama Bin Biden would be alive today if the CIA never performed waterboarding on the suspects who knew of his where-abouts/or/had some insight that could lead the navy seals and navy corpsmen to his hide-out?
And yet Alan Colmes and his gay far left buddies still think we got Bin Laden through a simple interview with the terror suspects.

In regards to the credibility of Rasmussems polls in late 2008, somewhere on the net you could find his state by state predictions of the election, actually he was pretty close. His final total had Obama winning somewhere between 4 and 5 points (If I recall),,he actually had it closer in comparison to his competition. What I would really like to see is a monthly Rasmussem poll in the 4 or 5 crucial states right through 2012. I really don't think Obama will carry the "Tri-Fector" states next time around!

Somewhere on the net.. :eusa_eh:

Rasmussen is always the outlier. Always leans sharply right and always has an excuse for his wingnutty results.

So you are claiming that the person who ordered the attack is insignificant compared to the people who executed the attack?

Re-evaluate your statement.

You are ducking

Is the person who orders the attack a big deal or not? Where does he stand compared compared to the people who planned or executed the attack

It took him 16 hours to make a decision that should have taken a few minutes. Opportunities for action are fleeting.

"No One Can Beat Obama" in 2012. Right?

Wrong. It's just that "T-Paw", Romney, Daniels, Palin, and the usual cast of GOP duds and reality TV stars can't.

For years, I supported the Bush-Dole-McCain duds the GOP kept nominating. No more. The GOP establishment likes inoffensive, boring candidates who pay lip service to limited government and strong defense, but don't have the balls to actually do it. Obama's got my vote in 2012, and I'm no liberal. So expect four more years with the guy.

Bin Laden should have been chopped into pieces by 2003. The problem was President Puss got played by Musharraf, and while Puss was focusing on Saddam, he was also giving orders to Special Ops not to cross into Pakistan. So guess which country let Bin Laden stay in a compound near a military base.

Actually it took several months.

I'm glad you are not in charge and making a decision on risking American lives in a few minutes

Stupid, cowboy, seat of the pants decisions is why we are in the mess we are in today. I prefer careful, thoughtful decisions that weigh ALL the factors. I'm VERY thankful that there is finally an "adult in the room" with our current CiNC. I shudder to think of the decisions a President McCain would have made...

Yeah, 18 months isn't enough time to make a decision about invading Iraq.

The CIA was monitoring bin Laden from the house next door for 4 months. The idea that Obama didn't know about it doesn't pass the laugh test.

Who do you think you're fooling?

So, you're calling Obama a liar when he said it took him 16 hours?

No...

I'm calling you a liar. The house was known for six months and Obama declined the option to bomb it. It took a month to plan and train for the raid. the decision depended on multiple factors being in place.

So, righties.......is that all you have left?

He should have decided faster? Pretty pathetic don't ya think?

This would be a great question for Hannity and O'Reilly to ask of Juan Williams and Alan Colmes. Every Democrat Spokesperson/News Anchor has been gloating that "No One Can Beat Obama" in 2012. Right? Ok,then if Obama is a shoe in come 2012, then why does he need to campaign? If Obama is as electable as Ronald Reagan,he may as well just stay in D.C. and do his job. Hmm, Maybe Obama Is Aware Of his 40% Approval Rating? And needs to find a way to rig the election again? It does cost a lot of money to create 20 to 30 million Democrats? Maybe Obama will need the assistance of George Soros and Corrupt Union Thugs in Swing States to Pull another "Harry Reid Nevada" Stunt ? Oh, and don't forget the costs of filling up Air-Force one for every campaign trip(what is it,around $400,000 in jet fuel ?) So what are your views regarding the One Billion Dollar goal to re-elecet the "Non-Beatable" Obama?

Thanks to the USSC decision in Citizens United, there is no longer any law governing the amount of donations. Why shouldn't he reach for a billion when the other side certainly will? Perhaps George Soros will donate several million; nothing stopping him from forming dummy organizations for the purpose. You can be sure the Koch Brothers will donate at least several million to the Republican candidate.

Funny how that USSC decision has now turned a few screws on those from the right who were celebrating.
No doubt.....one o' the MANY instances where "conservatives" failed to think-things-thru....in their pursuit o' short-term-profits!!!!

:eusa_whistle:

Oh please...the idea to invade (thanks for using the appropriate term) Iraq had been planned for eons. Puppet master Cheney was just waiting for an excuse (and was willing to torture to get it).

Who is saying President Obama didn't know about it (other than you)? The fact is that President Obama was presented a number of options for "getting" bin laden. I'm thankful that we have an intelligent president who thinks thing through. He made the right decision and we have been able to recover a lot of intelligence from the compound. If he had just blown the shit out of the place as some were encouraging him to do, we would not have that intelligence.

He made the right decision, obviously at the right time, and OBL is dead as a result. Good choice, good outcome.

You gotta love it when conservatives of all people start crying about money in politics.

You gotta love it when liberals can't answer a simple direct question. :eusa_whistle:

Actually, I kinda hate it when you people haven't kept current. You have no excuse for NOT knowing how both sides will raise the bulk of their campaign funding. Google finger broken or is Fox just ignoring the blowback from the USSC decision?
Maybe the folks at FAUX Noise are still waitin' on Gretchen Carlson to develop their opinion on campaign-financing.

.....over there!!!
