I remember walking to school with the snow piled high on each side of the road in some cases taller than I was....I only had about a mile to walk though.I got my frostbite outside of Wheaton, IL when I was in kindergarten in the 50s. I thought it was cool to walk through the snow. I still have problems with my feet.
